Yeah, I just read that a bit ago and agree that it would be a magnitude 11 megaquake for the republican party if Trump became nominee, and a slightly lesser mag 10 if Cruz became nominee.

So...polls!

Trump and Cruz are neck-and-neck in Iowa, Sanders and Clinton are neck-and-neck in Iowa (though Clinton may be ahead by a wattle).

In New Hampshire, Sanders appears to have it locked up, as does Trump at this point.


Which could bring an interesting scenario to play -- *IF* Sanders were to win Iowa and then NH, what next? Clinton would still almost certainly win SC, because #BernieSoWhite or some shit.

If Sanders and Clinton are too close to call in the polls, Clinton wins.  She can fabricate enough of the votes to make up the difference.  Don't underestimate the Clinton machine.

New Hampshire going to Sanders isn't a surprise since he lives right next door.
