((Definitely larger then an ocean liner if you want anything better then a Ceta Grade AI. Try about the size of a Rorqual.

Hey guys we shouldn't have an OP starting ship, How about a Patchwork of Stolen Parts and Rusted Scrap-metal with a sadistic AI? We could call it The Chrome Enterprise.

I'm planning on being the AI. The specific grade and personality of the AI depends on the ship. Body effects personality quite a bit.

My personal opinion on ship is a large, heavily industry/science oriented ship with corvette and frigate sized parasite drones for various tasks. (Parasite drones are drones that can latch onto the hull of the mothership rather then parking within. Although they can park within a carrier or hanger.

Because this is an organized expedition set up by multiple governments and entities. Not a random space hulk.

We can certainly build a space hulk later though. I mean, ship's gonna be modular.

It was made by an alliance of alien races, maybe it should be just be a giant mishmash of different alien techs were everyone added bits and pieces of stuff from their ships.

An entity is a group or organization or creature that does not classify as a government but does classify as a minor or major power. Such as an advanced AI. An AI collective. A biological or mechanical hivemind. Something like The Flood. And so on.
