Okay, scrap the hunter. A scout maybe.

How do they birth with the knowledge to design and create a mask and cloak?

Why do they wear them?

"They seldom communicate with anyone they meet"; they don't want anyone knowing who they are either, after the 'Tragedy'.

"They seem to have access to extreme intelligence"; they may have been genetically modified when they were still one civilization.
That isn't an answer.

OOC, Why?

IC, plenty of my species don't explain the details. OOC, the details are explained.

Sorry. I'll stop thinking about this race and start a new one if you don't mind.

Why? I can think of several reasons for them to do that.

Take a look at Orks from Warhammer 40K if you want an idea or four for why~

Orks communicate with everyone and aren't very intelligent, though.

They also have technology in their genomes.

That's the part I meant.

They still build it off of blueprints in their genome. The reason it works is because of their WAAAGH. However they were a failed bioweapon, soooo that makes sense.

Do you mean the one you sent yesterday? Looks a bit incomplete, but some of the questions you asked are important enough to bring up here. If you sent a more complete one today, I apologize, it does not seem to have made it to my inbox yet.

You have my complete permission to start the game as badasses/experts/highly capable people. You are, after all, most likely the bravest and the best (etc) going off on a perilous mission. But it would be good to discuss your skills/capabilities/abilities first, whatever they may be.

Not yet. I think we're still mostly focused on the crew. Speaking of which, I'll go round up the sheets currently posted. Most people don't seem quite done with their characters yet.

The AI pretty much depends on the ship, lorewise, the AI's personality is heavily affected by the body/bodies available.
