(( Do we have a limit to how many platoons we can expand to? ))
Only what you can purchase with requisition points, no company has a cap on the number of units they can control, but some units you recruit may automatically get sent to a company regardless of which you guys will want to place it. Most heavy artillery for instance like cannons, and howitzers will go to Sheb's Support company.

(( Makes sense, so our requisition is totalled up into a joint pool not individual? Does more then 1 officer with a trait for it stack? ))

Requisition is one pool controlled by the player who leads the Command Company, they are responsible for ensuring the entire regiment has the forces and equipment they need from Command, and also act as a go between for Command when they go on a war path and start assigning missions. These players are called the Regiment Commanders, while they in game have a higher rank then the other players it is not required to follow their orders (if they give any) to the letter, and should a Commander be seen unfit the five remaining players can call a vote to oust the current commander. Three votes for removing him causes it to pass, and then another vote is taken with all six players to determine who becomes Commander, whoever is voted into the Commander position swaps companies with the old Regiment Commander player.

If it's not too late.
Also Xanmy was that third possible reserve so the Command Company will go to him. I'm making the map now, if mastahcheese does not post a sheet by the time I finish it I'll put him on the waitlist with Patrick and start the game.

Map is done, placing your units now. The players are as follows;

Felix Sparks - 1st Infantry Company
3man75 - 2nd Infantry Company
GUNINANRUNIN - Cavalry Company
Sheb - Support Company
My Name Is Immaterial - Scout Company
Xanmyral - Command Company.

Patrick, and Mastahcheese will go on the waitlist and they'll enter the game should a friendly officer die or the regiment get wiped out by the enemy forces.

If the train is in the area then yes you will be able to, it'll have a movement of eight along the line, and will be able to move up to two infantry units at once to a location anywhere along its distance. Using it will however cost you five supplies per train load moved, even if you only put one unit on it.

Day 1, the Vigil Begins

Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Map Key (click to show/hide)
You arrive just outside of Gastoon on the 7th of January of the year 1868, the sky is clear, and the sun shining bright from its position high over head giving you an excellent chance to inspect the heavily wooded town of Gastoon below. A collection of a few dozen farmhouses with a small chapel at its heart the town is encompassed almost entirely by fields filled with wheat and corn to the north east while the south west is blocked by the sturdy, unyielding rails of the Union Border Railway. A line that stretches hundreds of miles throughout the front line providing transport, and supplies to the Damned Regiment in their war against the undead, bandits, and raiders coming from the now unclaimed Central United States.

The 23rd spreads out slightly forming up into their companies with Sergeant Cordic's Scouts far out to the front, watching for any potential threats while the officers themselves gather for a meeting to discuss the situation, and determine the plan. As you all enter Regiment Lieutenant Webb's tent you find a map of the area stretched out on the table ... and worryingly enough dispatches from Command already.

Quote from: Objectives, and Field Conditions
Weather: Crystal Clear with a side of Bright, and Shiny

Border Train Status: Currently able to provide its services to your unit.

Supply Income: +30 per day(20 base income + 10 from Sheb)
Current Supplies: 125 Supplies
Requisition Income: +5 per day(5 from Immaterial)

News from Home: As of now things are quiet.

Primary
Defend the North: Prevent any enemy units from breaking through to your deployment zone, should any ever reach the deployment zone then they are free to ravage the poorly defended Northern bastions. Completion of this Objective takes priority above all others on pain of death, failure to carry out this order will result in an immediate Execution of all Officers in charge of the Regiment, and redistribution of the failed Regiment's resources.
   - Success: Keep enemies from reaching the deployment zone outlined in red.
   - Failure: Five enemy units reach the deployment zone.

Secondary
Fortify the Town of Gastoon:  Command has sent down orders that the 23rd are to fortify the border town of Gastoon, its position along the railway and abundant harvests have made it a vital asset to the war effort. The officers sending the orders threaten with possible cuts to your supply lines if you fail to achieve the objective, but promise a bonus if you can get the town ready to throw off attacks with a small garrison.
  - Success: Move to Gastoon, and garrison it with at least one company. And erect defenses around the town to prepare for possible attacks.
       - Rewards: +30 supplies the next day.
  - Failure: If either no defenses exist in, or near Gastoon. Or there is no company garrisoning the town.
       - Penalty: -5 to Supply Income for Four Days.

-----------

So what happens next?
An update! An update happens next :D

As a small note every day is 24 rounds, give or take a few in some rare circumstances.

"Gentleman i beleive the town is an easy objective to take and hold. I have faith that if i send my 1 units of infantry men down. I can then station my sharpshooters to the east where the mountains are with my other infantry unit. While the mountains we'll be able to pick off anyone who tries to get to the primary. Leaving that unit alone would be..."

Whiteskull looks to his fellow Infantry men as if a realization just came out of him.

"Sargent Mickenzee, do you think you could spare one of your battle-hardened units to babysit? I don't trust my greenhorns all alone and i want to stay with the sharpshooters to get an idea of what these unread freaks look like."

Lefield paced near the table, a cigar clutched in one fist and the other planted firmly on his hip beside his saber. He took a heavy draw, nodded and gestured towards the map. Smoke curled from his mouth, then he spoke. Now this looks quite simple here, 1st Infantry can garrison the town and once they get their hands on some tools use their engineers to fortify! Before that we need to police the forest for rebels. I'd like to take my dragoons south to this hill, 79, then towards the valley to perhaps detect any large forces advancing across the open before they can reach us. Lieutenant, what's your opinion?
