Now that Cript mentions it, maptools would probably be better, since having a visual actually matters for DnD.
Except when your players are dicks. And draw dicks over the map you spent two hours working on.

I prefer Sundays, but can potentially do Saturday. I cannot do maptools, however, the program hates me.

Hey, nothing wrong with a good piece of phaliocentric artwork.

Of course not. But this was like a Freudian Toddler met MS Paint. And it was everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

Anyway. Here is my character sheet.

Spoiler: backstory (click to show/hide)

I always seem to write my rpg backstories late at night, I wonder if that's a good thing or a bad thing for the quality. Eh.

Anyway, you might note that my sheet is pretty unfinished, especially feats and skills (and some items). Honestly, this is the first time I've made a sorcerer (I've always done wizard), and it was a lot harder then I thought it would be. It seems like you need to think a lot ahead for a sorcerer, even down to your first level feats, and to be honest what I want to do with this character is going to change a lot depending on what the other characters are going to be. So, I hope Remuthra doesn't mind if I leave my feats and skills blank until he selects players, so that if I do get in I can sorta tailor my dude to the others who got in as well.

Hum... If I get around to it before the characters are selected maybe I'll make a ogre character as well, they looked fun with that free sr and large size... Maybe like a warblade. Or a dungeon crasher.

Roll20's fine. So's Skype, IRC, etc. It's just maptools and hamachi that hate me.

Is it hamachi that makes you unable to use maptools? If so, it seems like the solution would be to not use hamachi. If Remuthra is able to host a server. (If he's not, I could host if he was okay with that.)

Edit: By the way, can anyone confirm what this says?

It's the city that my guy is from, but I can't tell if it's called Karah'lac, Karaa'lac, or Something'somethingotherthenlac?

Yep.

By the by, just so people know, what I'm planning for Ara is the old Tashalatora Monk 2/PsyWar 18, focusing on using my powers to make the Karmic Strike + Robilar's Gambit masochist build safer and stronger. So basically a tank who can also act as a scout, thanks to the natural speed increase + high DEX and WIS.

As for long term planning: I am going wizard 20. It's not exactly a complicated build, but honestly wizards don't need to be complicated to be useful.

E: Doot dee doot, nothing to see here, this has always been a discworld.
E2: Nor have any islands accidentally sunk. Nope, no sir.

I've finished fluffing to my satisfaction.
My build is unclear as of now. Probably Archivist 20. I don't know.

Pretty sure it was a discworld.

Notably, the world is roughly circular, flat, and bordered by what is essentially the flat-earth model of the edge of the world.
So it is.
