Oh, hey, DM question:

Would you mind having Tasha also work with the monk Slowfall progression? It's nigh-on gorram useless, but it's cool aesthetically if it's not a situation where I'd need to just use a ring or whatever to not splat.

Could I be able to use wisdom instead of Dex for archery feats later on? And at 1 BAB could I possibly get Farshot instead of Point Blank Shot?

Assume it works for all monk abilities. Just makes sense that way.

If the archery feat involves making an attack, a modification to that attack stacks with it. Multishooting is still shooting. You'll have to pay the feat cost for Farshot, though.

I mean the prerequisites for the feats that require dex, like manyshot and rapid shot requiring 17 and 13 dex respectively to get them in the first place rather than actually using them.

Wait, as in a full gestalt that includes all of the (admittedly pretty shit) class abilities? Or just the ones which increment numerically? Because the former would be amazing thematically (and admittedly, it's a monk, so still less impressive than a properly built almost anything else, or even a half-assed most things), but I'm sort of surprised.

Better to clear it up now than four levels down the line, eh?  :P

Just the ones which increment and which you already acquired a version of from levels in Monk.

Oh, rest assured, I'm completely crazy. All the crazy stuff is hidden within the setting, waiting to be discovered.

So can the dex requirements for the archery feats use wisdom instead?

I'm unsure on this call, so I'll let the dice decide.

Dice say no.

Character Sheet mostly done. Behold Torvold of Cloedia, junior legal clerk to the Council of Dead and dabbling arcane necromancer. He is adventuring to fund his ambition to start up his own law practice back home in Midrath.

Things that need approval:
Omniscient Whispers feat. Gives Commune 1/week. Torvold meets the requirement via his experiences at court where high level Divinations are occasionally used to contact the spirits of the dead for evidence or advice in very important cases. If rejected, I will substitute Spell Focus: Necromancy as a boring but practical option.

Things I'd like to ask about:
A bit more about where the party might be headed please? Are we sailing across the sea? Visiting Giant Country? Wandering Silthern?

Reminds me, since this setting isn't really set up with a defined starting point and narrative in mind so much as "stuff happens, and you can be there if you like", go ahead and confer on a set of starting circumstances.
Currently it seems there is no plot.

It's less that there's no plot and more that the plot takes a bit of a passive role. The game's not real linear, so you can pretty much do whatever (explore or something) and go looking for story information. Hence, where you start off doesn't really matter to me.

Yeah, that's fine.
