Can I do smth with birds that spawns sometimes

Hi all!

Can I do smth with birds that spawns sometimes? It seems like hunters unable to kill them and other animals won't spawn for a long time.

Good hunters will kill them, or you could send out any marksdwarf squads you have, they should kill them pretty quickly. If you have "dwarves collect refuse from outside" set in the 'O'rders acreen, someone will come pick up the corpse and drop it in a refuse pile. If your butcher shop is close enough to the trashpile, a butcher will then come and get the corpse from the refuse pile and butcher it.

Be aware that most birds are useless tough, and some can't be butchered.

Birds sometimes glitch out and won't leave the map, hunters won't touch them because they're too small to give meat, go into the raws and remove [FLIER] from the offending bird.
