Just waiting to see if I can get anyone else to join.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Friendly advice: don't. This waiting (for more people or more commonly in my experience "more votes") will kill your game deader than a bullet made out of cyanide.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

So I guess I lied about doing the update yesterday. Oh well. Anyways, this is the basics of movement:
All ships are in hyperspace right now. You may exit out of hyperspace where you are now (only engage with people dropping out next to you), or drop out of hyperspace relative to someone else, engaging them and any other nearby ships, wherever they drop out. This is a one time thing, and any other movement isn't going to be a 100% chance (for example, trying to escape won't immediately move you out, and moving to another ship probably won't be instant)

Example:
Player 1: Drop out where I am currently --Nothing happens unless someone else drops out next to him
Player 2: Drop out at player 1 --Drops out next to player 1
Player 3: Drop out at player 2 --Drops out next to player 1 and 2
Player 4: Drop out at Player 5
Player 5: Drop out at Player 4

Sounds fun, still have room?

Bought:
Budget shield+armor(6 points)
2 Missile Racks(10 points)
1 Advanced Engine(4 points)
1 Energy Gatling(3 points)
2 Beam Turrets(2 points)
That's fine.

Each ship, with their respective captains, enter the boundaries of the huge arena, and are ready to drop out of hyperspace at any second now.
It's only a matter of time before combat starts.

USS Moray drop out at HMS Inception.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Ooh. Didn't see that, sorry.
If you're okay with replacing some fighters with budget armor, then I'll add you in as a seventh player.
