I may have to take a look into that. The "racing brain" part in particular sounds interesting.

I read so little compared to seemingly everyone else here.

Unfortunately I haven't read Christine, so I can't comment on any differences. What I can say is that The Buick doesn't go driving around on its own, running people over. It's a bit more low-key, spending entire in-universe years without doing much at all. And when it does do something, it seems more like a machine doing what it was designed for rather than a malevolent entity out to cause mischief.

Most of the story is told via the characters reminiscing about the 20-odd years that The Buick has been around, alternating between Then, when things are told in a sort of third-person omniscient perspective, and Now which is first-person. In other words, most of the action has already happened.

Ohh, nice bookies.

I shouldn't be reading this year much, given exams, but given I have English Literature books to read I should still have some. Also, I shouldn't be reading, but I probably will do so at the normal rate to keep what remains of my sanity anyway.

In no particular order, given I'm just listing them as I think of them:
Spoiler: 10/52 (click to show/hide)

Edit: This is a list since New Years...not sure if that's what it's supposed to be, or if you post as you read it and don't include books from earlier in 2015?

Why not? I'm probably not going to reach 52, since I've been kinda busy and haven't had a huge number of chances to read new books, but still. Insofar, I'm only at 1/52; Interesting Times, by Terry Pratchett. Unless D&D rulebooks count, in which case I read through the entirety of the 5e Player's Handbook, putting me at 2/52.

Is the Pardoner the only Canterbury Tale you have to read in school? If you liked that one, you should definitely read the Miller and the Wife of Bath as well. (...and even if you didn't like it, you should read them all the same.)

I do like it, and yes, it's the only one we do in school. I was thinking of reading a few more in my own time, but haven't gotten 'round to it yet.
