You awaken from a long slumber. Before, there was blackness, darkness, nothing. It has been such a long time, such a very long time... You do not recall who you were. Or where you come from... but this world is strange to you. You have materialised in a room of brightly painted walls and soft floors, but you can not feel, can not hear. You can only see.

You feel as if you can not move from this area, either. You feel... latched to it.

Updated Rules on Latching

The Spirit looks inside of itself, curious of its meaning and purpose... but there is not. It is a void of emptiness, whatever once was, is no more - as far as we can tell. Self-Awareness + Emotion discovered.

The Spirit 'Berny' wanders, drifts, to the portal framed in a white material and looks to the world outside. A road runs by in a straight line downhill and uphill, semi-detached structures of red bricks and gray shale follow it either side, aforementioned by small spaces of green and bordered by low, thick gray walls. The sky is dull and gray, thick mists of light gray dismiss and tint everything within sight.

Noisy contraptions of metal and glass speed past along the road. A few people walk along the streets out of reach.

Gameplay
You seem to be in a child's bedroom. It is gloomy, but not dark. There is one door and one window. You are alone.

A. Investigate the Room.
B. Investigate outside of the room (Door).
C. Investigate outside of the room (Window).
D. Do Nothing / Wait.

Always Available Alternative Actions:
W: Do/Say/Think/Feel (Anything). This has a chance to discover a random ability you have not discovered yet.
X: Latch onto a particular object you might find in this location.
Y: Latch onto a random object.
Z:Latch onto a person in this room.

The Spirit's mind flickers with a spark of... something. Memory, perhaps. A colour. Red. Warmth. What is that? It slips from his mind as quickly as it came, and the apparition continues to mindlessly haunt as a presence. Discovered Touch

The Spirit withdraws its attention from this gloomy, noisy place beyond the glass and white frame. Within, as shadows creep from the corners where light not travel, objects dull into the background of what this room contains... a crib. A doll. A table and cabinet as one, stuffed full of wrapped objects that the spirit could not easily comprehend; soft things, hard things, wet things, dry things.

In hindsight, the spirit would have recognised this room as that of a baby. Though, also in hindsight, the spirit did not recognise as to why he chose to do as he did at the time, for good or for evil. Room updated

Now however, in the present, a noise clatters from beyond a wooden wide open door of ... of murk, of brown. Slowly, this world is gaining colour. Though beyond the portal-way, the spirit could not yet focus, or would not.
