I firmly believed that the people needed to be educated in order to be productive. Schools and universities, not just for mages, would help teach the people and bring prosperity back to Daria.
(Kingdom Faction +15)

King Travis tried to be a good king, but his timid personality and lack of confidence caused many troubles. All of the nobles who worked for him quickly learned how to take advantage of this.

1) I used religion to try to strengthen his character. (Needs 75 Religion)
2) I taught him the mistakes of previous rulers. (Needs 75 History)
3) I gave him some techniques to use on the nobles. (Needs 75 Diplomacy)

King Travis listened to my advice. (Needs 75 Royal Faction)
4) I slapped the king and called him names.
5) He caused many troubles for the kingdom.

2. 4 won't work because it isn't a skill check.

2).

4 would likely do something, but I doubt it would help all that much.

4 might not work,  but it would definetly be hilarious. Especially if it worked.
But yeah, 2 is the best choice.

These games don't have a back button or multiple save states or anything.
