I think you're right. We have the eyes that watch the world, but we might be able to get Nature or something like that if Cat does the tracking.

In a hole in the ground there lived a dwarf. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a dwarf fortress, and that means magma.

It only took a few sniffs, and Cat was after the scent. I was led to a small cottage just outside of Tornassa.
(Nature +10)

The weather was mirroring my mood as I stood in front of the door.

I kicked the door down.
I leveled the entire cottage with an enormous lightning strike. (Needs 40 Conjuration)

Three men were sitting around a table, but they all jumped to their feet upon seeing me. I saw Harold in a back room, tied up with rope and blindfolded.

I killed them with my bare hands. (Needs 50 Fighting)
I blasted the kidnappers with fire. (Needs 40 Conjuration)
I commanded the kidnappers to obey me. (Needs 60 Enchantment)
I shrunk their belts, magically cutting them all in half. (Needs 60 Transmutation)

I was caught by surprise and did nothing.

They were stunned to see the royal wizard attacking them with such physical ferocity.I was thrilled to have saved Harold, but I realized that by killing the kidnappers, I couldn't interrogate them in order to learn if others had been involved.

I raised them and learned of their plans anyway. (Needs 50 Necromancy)
I divined the truth. (Needs 80 Divination)
I never did learn who was behind the kidnapping.

I sat next to their dead bodies and cast a strong Divination spell. A vision came to me immediately in which I saw Duke Peter, Princess Emily's widower.
(Divination +10)

I untied Harold and soothed his fears before going after the duke. Once my child was safely back in my tower and under heavy guard, I went to the duke's quarters. He said that he blamed me for Princess Emily's death and that the money hadn't been his goal at all. I knew that this was going to be difficult, accusing the king's own father.

1) I publicly denounced the duke and brought him up on charges.
2) I personally tortured and killed the duke.

2, the king will hardly stand idly by while we bring up his dad on charges.

1). If the King does not aid us in this endeavor, we've a right to oppose him as the weak ruler he is. It shall undoubtedly break his heart, but we cannot sit by while our family is threatened.

It was easy enough to prove his crime, and he lost his head to the executioner's axe. I felt much safer knowing that the duke would never bother me or my family again. King Travis was ashamed, but he stood back and let the magistrate deal with the issue. I was given a lot of recognition and respect for bringing the duke to justice instead of taking the law into my own hands. It became a significant footnote in history and improved the culture of the entire kingdom, allowing Daria to be known for its high morals and commitment to its justice system.
(Fame +1, Diplomacy +25, Kingdom Faction +15, Kingdom Culture Increases)

I spent a lot of my days doing paperwork, as there always seemed to be some detail that needed to be looked into. It was through this paperwork that I learned about the blight. A few farmers were complaining that they couldn't pay their taxes because of a poor harvest. This wasn't too strange by itself, but when I compared it to the previous years, I could see that the area of trouble was growing. I left for the infected farms immediately.

When I arrived, I saw that all sorts of vegetation was under attack, from trees, to grass, to crops. Everything seemed to be turning yellow and rotting, despite all attempts to save the plants.

1) I used my knowledge of nature to try to clear the blight. (Needs 70 Nature)
2) I used a Divination spell to find a solution. (Needs 70 Divination)

The fey creatures of the land spoke to me. (Needs 70 Elf Faction)
I summoned a wood sprite to help me. (Needs 65 Summoning)

3) I didn't know how to stop the blight.
