It was a surefire way to get trained fighters in my army, though it was wildly unpopular. Every fighter in the land was forced to do mandatory service for minimal pay. Once I had bolstered the town guard with guild fighters, our troubles with bandits started clearing up immediately.
(Daria's Defense Increases, Army Power +1, Fighters Guild -30)

My final stop was my own guild, the Mage Guild. Archmage Lacius, the Guildmaster, was happy to see me again, even though I hadn't actually graduated from the Academy. Ciel, his raven, perched on his shoulder as I explained Daria's troubles and the need we had for mages in all areas of the kingdom's interest. Unlike the Fighters or Thieves Guild, the Mages had no interest in money, making things more difficult. Archmage Lacius listened with a serious expression on his face.

1) I used the Dragonwish.
2) My excellent relationship with the guild gave me a great advantage. (Needs 50 Mage Guild)
3) I offered them a magical item from my personal collection.
4) I created a "magic tax", taxing all magical artifacts and spell services. (Needs 25 Economics)
5) I threatened to burn down the Academy.
6) I had no idea how to get the Mage Guild to work with me.

Honestly... I do wonder what dragon wish would have done. Like would it have raised an army from nothing?

Master Lacius listened to my pleas with a stern look on his face. I believe that he was trying to groom me to be the new Guildmaster. He agreed to all of my suggestions. Mages to bolster the town guard and the army were only the beginning. Magic made everything easier, from lifting stones during building projects to finding mineral deposits when mining. The Mage Guild was a great ally for Daria.
(Mage Guild +25)

I returned to the royal castle to report my actions with the guilds to King Travis.

the way your fingertips plant meaningless soliloquies makes me think you are the true evil among us.

Natural resources of wood, stone, and ore were essential for our building projects, defense equipment, roads, and implements of war. My knowledge helped increase our lumber yields and improved the safety of our mines and lumberyards. All aspects of the kingdom improved as these new methods were taught across Daria.
(Kingdom Faction +20)

King Travis tried very hard to be a good king, but King Gareth's reign tainted everything he did. There were many people who did not want him on the throne. He was nervous, timid, and hadn't been trained to be king. With the kingdom in tatters, the nations surrounding Daria began to get nervous. I knew that I would have to do something to keep Daria safe until things settled down. Unfortunately, King Gareth had soured the reputation of the kingdom.

1) I went to the Elf Queen.
2) I went to the Dwarf King.
3) I went to the Orc Chieftain.
4) I stopped working on foreign relations and turned my attention elsewhere.
