We have the option to hire 5000 gold advisors that increase a category by one level before we apply our skills, as I mentioned in the post that explained the kingdom management system. Since this is still relatively early in this stage of the game and there are other things you might want to spend your money on in the future, I haven't been offering the option. Once we get towards the end, though, I'll ask you guys whether you want to or not.

3, I suppose. Since it's already at 100 and the game doesn't care what order they're done in.

At first, it would seem that religion shouldn't be the domain of the government, but a happy, well-adjusted people does wonders for productivity and decreases civil unrest. Temples, shrines, priests, and religious knowledge was very important to the kingdom.
(Kingdom Faction +20)

I remember when I got the news that Harold had been kidnapped—I was frantic and furious! I couldn't believe that someone would use an innocent 11-year-old as leverage against me. I received a scroll telling me that I had to pay 5000 gold or I'd never see my child again.

1) I used Divination to find out who was behind it. (Needs 70 Divination)
2) I posted a reward. (Needs 1500 gold)
3) Cat, my dog, was able to track the kidnappers.
4) I paid the full ransom. (Needs 5000 Gold)
5) I did nothing.

Although 3 would also be fun.

Wait, how long has that animal lived? Or is it simply a different animal with the same name? Cat the fourth? Or does it have 9 lives?
