Look, we need to raise a psychopath who will murder God, we have no time to be spending on cooking.

the way your fingertips plant meaningless soliloquies makes me think you are the true evil among us.

It was the first time I had ever seen another troll, besides my parents. The warriors who had captured it stood nearby, but they let me approach. It was enormous, green, and covered with warts. But that was where our similarities ended. It stunk, its teeth were rotten, and it continually tried to claw or bite anyone who got too close. I tried to speak to it, but it only knew a few words and preferred to sling crude insults at me instead. Sadly, I left the troll behind and continued on my way, realizing once more just how different I really was.

The village of Scone had made the best of a bad situation. Over the years, they had built a thriving community around the Abyss. Weaponsmiths, inns, taverns, and general stores catered to the adventurers. They purchased the loot that came from the dungeon and sold new equipment to parties who needed things. My race didn't prove to be a problem; stories of a troll mage had reached the small village.

We looked over our equipment and trained in our skills before we left.

(We couldn't train anyone or craft anything.)

We packed up our belongings and left the tavern. We entered the great Abyss through the front temple doors. At first, we didn't see anything besides broken pews and the old altar. We cautiously made our way forward to the catacombs beneath. So far, it didn't seem very dangerous. But everyone knew that the deeper an intrepid adventurer went, the stronger the danger and greater the reward. We were broken from our thoughts by the sound of a group of skeletons approaching.

I let Hermann handle it. (Needs Cleric Power 6)

Turning undead and healing injuries, that was the entire reason we had a cleric in our group. Hermann was eager to call to her Gods and smite the skeletons. They collapsed almost immediately. Maris was quick to go through the bone fragments for treasure. It was grisly work, looting the undead corpses, but we found many valuables. After we had finished taking everything of value, we continued deeper into the Abyss.
(Gold +135, Healing +5, Religion +5)

The catacombs had very little dust or spider webs on them, which wasn't really surprising, considering how many adventurers passed through every day. We found a rickety old wooden staircase and descended down into the Abyss. The wood looked old and ancient, and we hadn't gotten very far when something happened.

We tripped a trap, ending our journey into the Abyss. Our thief had failed us.

We were very lucky to have survived. The poisoned darts struck us all, but we crawled out of the catacombs and returned to Scone, where we received swift medical attention. We gained no fame that day, but at least we could tell our future clients that we had entered the Great Abyss near Scone.

I really enjoyed working with Hermann. We were very close during my adventuring days.

1) I ended up marrying my girlfriend, Hermann.
2) We never got married.
3) I decided to break up with Hermann and spend the rest of my days as a single person.

I was madly in love with Hermann, I had a good paying job, and I was an adult. It only seemed natural to get married. I was thrilled when Hermann said yes. We had no problem with a same-sex marriage, and neither did the rest of my party. My parents came to Tornassa for the wedding. I wished that they had stayed home. They told us that we were too young to get married and that it would never last. I was furious. We had a wonderful wedding and went on a great honeymoon.
