The five halflings were no problem for Stewart and his sword.
(Fighting +10, Warcraft +5)

The halfling who had hired us returned to the crypt.

"I am ashamed to say that those cultists are relatives of mine," he said, his eyes on the dead halfling on the slab in front of us. "This was my great-great-grandfather. I believe that they were planning to raise him in order to have him retroactively change his will and give the estate to their side of the family."

"Please clean this up before you leave," he said as he handed over a large bag of gold and left the crypt.
(Gold +180, Fame +1)

1) I studied the undead halfling, curious as to the powers being used.
2) Loot! He asked us to clean up, so I really cleaned up.
3) I took the gold and left things where they were. I wasn't a maid or an undertaker.
4) I tidied up the crypt, being careful to leave all of the valuables with the deceased bodies.

I saw that the cultists had gotten a few things right but still wasn't convinced that they would have been successful. I learned a lot from what I saw.
(Necromancy +20)

It was a nice, sunny day when an old man came into the Full Cup Inn with a job for us.

"My name is Gorion. I'm a former member of the Thieves Guild," he told us. "I need an escort out of Tornassa. I'll be honest with you, I stole a large sum of money from the guild, and they're hunting me down."

1) We did as he asked and tried to escape Tornassa.
2) I cut his throat and took his stolen money for myself.
3) We took him directly to the Thieves Guild for a reward.

We took him up to our room to make a plan. The Guild was powerful, and it wouldn't be good to cross them, but the man was willing to pay, so we took the job.

I bribed every thief I saw on our way out of the city. (Needs 90 Gold)

It wasn't the most cost-effective method, but it worked. We met up with three different groups of thieves, and each of them wanted a cut. There certainly was no honor among thieves that day.
(Gold -90)

Gorion was happy that we had gotten him out of the city.

"I used to be the Guild's top poisoner, but it's a terrible line of work. I'll use this money to retire. You know, I can offer you more than money."

1) He taught me the Alchemy needed to brew poisons.
2) He taught me the Healing needed to heal poisons.
3) I didn't accept the trade. I wanted money.
4) I told him that no reward was necessary.
