I have one. I know that the Axe and the Lance each have a 1-2 range counter part, the hand axe and the javelin respectively, but does the sword have one?
Lances and Axes each have categories specifically dedicated to 1-2 range variants, Throwing for Axes and Spears for Lances, respectively.
Swords don't have a category completely dedicated to to 1-2 range weapons, but like SerCon said, there is the Claymore, as well as the Magic Swords. They can also take Sidearms, which have several 1-2 range options available, in the form of Knives.

Rune Sabre, A class Slsh
Wind Sword, B class Thru
Earth sword, D class Crsh
Light Brand, C class Crsh
Claymore, A class Crsh
Iron knife, E class Side

So theres a few.

Axes have the entire throwing category, and lances have the spear category. Along with a few others in the other categories, but they're the main ones.

Most swords don't have a range of 1-2 due to most swords in real life not being a ranged weapon. The magic swords are interesting, in that they operate off of magic at range 2 and strength at range 1, while the knives are clearly meant to be thrown. Apparently the claymore is just a friggen big sword such that you can hit someone out of normal range.

I know. Just seen a lot of tutorials now. :v

Speaking of 2-range melee weapons, that reminds me of how hilarious Ragnell looks when you use it at range in Awakening. Reminds me of the black knight scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The boomerang throwing-axe animations from PoR were pretty funny, too.

You'd start off as a performer trainee. Unless someone else has made a perfomer trainee, sure. THe handbook has been linked to. Post a sheet and we'll help you from there.

Do try to use proper english, though, in character. FEF is a very text-heavy game, and checking puncuation makes it more pleasant for everyone.

If you're feeling helpful, link me to the people I haven't processed.

IC Thread up.

Be very careful to keep any OOC in this thread. Any comments, complaints, problems, whatever, that are not stated in character must be stated in this thread.

You have some time to talk amung yourselves before the map starts.

With the Gates of Rundum suddenly running again I have the sudden urge to join a game of FEF, so... Can I ask about how many people have signed up? Just so that I know whether I have a chance at joining or not. I think that you meantioned 8 sheets earlier in the thread, but I haven't been counting and don't know if some extra people have joined since then.

If you want to be in more games, not abandoning Twin Kings would be a good start. :P

GiglaDes should totally link the handbook in the OP (that, or I'm not seeing it right :P).
Right!

So I believe you want a bit of information about PERFORMERS and yet lack the handbook at present, yeah? :O

Maybe if it ever updates. I swear I'll post something when the turn finally rolls around. It's hard to do much when your turn has already been auto'd for you. I'm really sorry about that, by the way.
