And that makes 8. I can still take one more near the center SW but submission will need to take place before I finish setting randomized start improvements and the NPC nations. It seems pretty likely that there will be 3 at this point. Your nations were pushed around to fill empty spaces and eliminate pockets, which influenced a few people getting or barely not getting a starting Populous Province.

I think I'll be done finalizing later today and we can begin with the Pre-Game setup for deployments and treaties.

As noted in their sections, the NPC nations begin with diplomatic relations. They won't open up as trading/diplomacy options until several turns have passed and you've earned their trust.

I'm not restricting your posts to then, though any game actions only take place in the turn order (i.e. if you post before your turn your action is "on hold" until everyone before you moves too)
