"Hmm Okay what if each of us was limited to 10 Essence and agreed not to mess with each others creations without that Wizard Kings permission, I +1 my own proposal, Giving it a total vote of 1."

"We need to define terms. What if one of us makes something horrible, then that person dies? There would be invincible creations running about on a dead persons orders, wrecking everything we build." Ivy states tactfully, as a politician would.

"We make reality here-it's likely if we bind ourselves to an agreement, such a thing will be binding if it's done so in majority. We need to be precise."

"So unless someone chooses to take the creation under their own wing they are recycled. I'm cool with this. Say this machine seems similar to some things I've got back home. Mind if I try it out?"

Oooh, are we talking about our home planes, now? I come from the Celestial Plains, ya know. Wonder if any of you'd heard of it. Anyway, I have something I wanna test out before we make any agreements...
With that, Shaiguju attempts to will into existence a law stating that all objects, regardless of size, count as a clump of essence, and if a piece, however small, is torn, cut or otherwise removed from a larger object/structure it counts as a seperate object/structure and can be reduced to 1 clump of essence without doing the same to the parent structure/object.

Zorlock

Appropriately enough, the human pilot is forced to teach you in detail how the tank works.  It takes over an hour for him to show you each and every one of the six hundred and forty-two switches, and to explain how all six gear pedals work.  Once you are confident that you can operate the tank, you allow the velociraptors to escort him into the forest.

Naturally, once out of eyeshot, the velociraptors kill and eat him.

Ivy

You command your clone to try and create a temporary object, like you did by accident at the start of this all.  She raises her hand and a fleeting image of your old favourite stuffed toy appears and then vanishes.  You try to do the same... and nothing happens.

Ah, crap.  You check your head and find that you do, at least, still have the 'switches' for disobeying physical laws.

Dave

[Sorry, but I'm going to count the prior expenditure of Essence as counting for now.]

You take one of your flintlocks and start etching a circle of runes around the barrel with your stylus.  The syntax is pretty simple; When - Fire - Project - Burst - Destruction.  You load in a bullet and try a test shot on one of the trees nearby.  You pull the trigger, the powder blasts and a surge of - something - bursts from the barrel and streams forward until it hits the tree.  The tree is surrounded by a haze, and then crumbles in its entirety into fine black powder.  The destruction seems to cut off at ground level, and you can see the cleanly severed roots beneath the powder.

The spell is simple enough; when there is fire in the gun (from the gunpowder), it will project a burst of 'destruction'.  So long as you state explicitly what you're inscribing in future, things should work fairly well.

Shaiguju

Your attempted rule does not take.  It appears there is a hard-coded limit on conservation of Essence here in the 'Veldt, and no amount of attempted rule-dodging will shake that.  Essence is a zero-sum game, and without acquiring more, you cannot create more.  You cannot split it apart.  You cannot will it to be more.

(OOC: The following purchases are made using the 5 Essence inside the Tank dimension.)

"Oh yes my plan is finally ready, But first I might as well make sure that I won't be smited by the the first Meat-head I encounter on my Travels.
Zorlock uses 1 Essence to increase his Strength, Durability, and Agility.
"Now to ensure that nobody sacks my Tower while I'm gone,"
Zorlack uses 2 Essence to create a small horde of Bloodred Humanoid Steel Machines, They have 3 times the Strength and Agility of a Human Being,They can bypass the Lightning Shield Unharmed,Follow Zorlock's Commands to the point that they would jump into the Void without a second thought, require little to no resources,Can speak English, and They are roughly 7 feet tall and weigh 400-500 pounds. Zorlack creates as many of them as 2 Essence will get him.
"These are called the Kill-Simulators, Of course I hope that they'll only have to Simulate killing someone, No intention of Hostilities, Just a precaution,You understand."
Zorlack creates a new law stating that the Laws Governing Blood Magic in his Home Dimension now apply to Him,allowing him to cast Blood Magic like he did in his Home Dimension.
"Ah, I missed that feeling."
Zorlock programs the Kill-Simulators with the Tank driving knowledge he obtained, He then puts several of the Kill-Simulators inside of the Voyager and then takes position as the Driver. He Then gives the remaining Kill-Simulators orders to protect his Tower and ensure that nobody else gets past the Lightning Shield, If at all necessary kill them, Zorlock then creates an Medieval Arsenal in his Tower Basement and gives the Kill-Simulators knowledge of the Usage of them. He also creates a small machine shop and shows the Kill-Simulators how to repair themselves with it.
"Tally-Ho! We're off to find more Essence!"
The Voyager explores the Entire Realm on the Solid side of the Cliffs in search of Essence.

Zorlock

You reshape yourself, putting yourself on a par with Shaiguju.  [-1 Essence]  You form 25 murderous androids, 7ft tall and painted red over their steel frames.  Enhanced strength and agility is part of their make-up, you can freely give them lightning shield permissions without expending Essence (you have the remote control and just key in an exclusion for them), the existing command law precludes them disobeying you anyway and language support is part of the package.  To get away from the resource requirement, apart from when they need replacement parts they should be able to charge up by standing in the lightning field, or from any powerful enough electrical power source.  [-1 Essence]

To test out how far you can stretch it, you then multiply the existing design by as much as a single clump of essence will give you.  [-1 Essence]

You now have five thousand of them.

You teach one how to drive the tank, and he communicates the knowledge to the rest.  You then give them standing kill orders on anyone who tries to enter the Tower (yourself excluded), taking a handful with you in the Voyager.  For a lark, you form a machine shop [-1 Essence] at the base of the Tower and give them instructions on self-repair - although the shop has limited materials to do so.  You then summon an armoury of classic medieval weapons and equip your death-bots with thousands of longbows, bodkin arrows, pikes, glaives and halberds.  They form a shield wall around the Tower, ready to kill anyone who even approaches it.  [-1 Essence]

The tank's tank is now empty of Essence.  You cruise around the edge of the cliffs stretching out into nothingness, but you don't find anything new.  Only grey sand and bottomless cliffs in every direction.  Actually, it looks like the cliffs have grown nearer since last time you looked.  They're only about a mile out from the valley now.

Dave

You head along on the expedition, fruitful as it proves.  You don't detect any lifeforce from the killbots, but the other enchantment is interesting.  Looking at trees and such, the goggles give you an intuitive explanation of what they are, how old they are (very new) and what they're made of.  Looking at the air, you get a feel of the air's composition (standard to your own world).  Looking at the sand, you get a reading that just tells you 'Essence'.  Looking at the void beyond the cliffs you see... nothing.

Ivy

[You can actually control yourself.  I'm just console-screwing with you.  Everything you do will be seen from the clone's side for as long as she's alive, but you still actually control Ivy Prime.]

"Well, That should be Enough to defend my Tower,Does Anybody have any ideas to Explore for more Essence?Apparently there isn't any more here, Perhaps there are different levels in the DreamVeldt, with the lower ones having less Essence and The higher ones having more *Starts Mumbling*."
Zorlack also checks on the Velocoraptors and Sukkippu.
25 of the Kill-Simulators will now guard Zorlack.
Zorlack tells the Kill-Simulators to not harm the Velocoraptors under any circumstances unless Zorlack commands them, The Kill-Simulators will not harm Sukkipu but will instead form a tower shield wall blocking it, The Kill-Simulators won't attempt to kill any Wizard Kings unless they either attack the Kill-Simulators or attempt to go into the Tower, If the Kill-Simulators don't recognize something they will ignore it unless they attempt to breach the shield wall or attack the Kill-Simulators in which case they kill them.
Zorlack attempts to create a Dimensional Map of nearby Essence Deposits(Nearby meaning within this Multiverse.)
"Alright anybody have any ideas or theories regarding the origin of this Essence and how we might obtain more of it if so just send me a call."
Zorlock creates 7 Solar Powered Talking Devices,1 for Each Wizard King, They can press a number on the device allowing them to communicate with the device that has that number, Zorlock programs his to correspond with the number one.
Zorlock goes into his Tower.

Zorlock

The Sukkipu have actually built a small village of mud huts by the river banks, fishing with nets and spears and collecting fruit to feed themselves.  They haven't erected any walls because there aren't any animals except the raptors, and they don't seem to have encountered them.  Goodness, these lobster men work fast.

Four of the velociraptors are busy tearing chunks of flesh off that tank driver.  They seem happy enough.  You still have no idea what happened to the fifth one.

Retconned in from the last one:  You also establish blood magic to work as it did in your old world.  [-1 Essence]

Please establish the rules of how blood magic works.
