If you could pick the next squire's starting location, would it be...

A southernly port where cultures and norms of society mix and clash with each other?
A westernly city akin to Marienburg, home of current squire in play?
An easternly outpost at the edge of kingdom's borders, a beginning of thisverse's Silk Road?
A northernly fortress where young men prove themselves in combat with giants, wildlings and mystical beasts?
Centre of the kingdom, trapping the young squire in a thick web of decadent court's schemings and plots?

Really? I thought you were just making the story as you went along

I am.

But this is game of 'Squire!' which means that when you get sixteen and knighted, all I will to do is follow on whatever you guys did, check on stats and things you have accomplished, write a story of Honso's adult life, and make a big 'FIN' screen :P

And then we can start anew.

Considering he got branded by the inquisition I don't think that would have been... healthy for Honso.

Play match maker and get Redford and Matella married? It'd be good for his public image and matella would be noble by some standards.

We should ask Redford how much his.public image he worries about though. If he just does not Care than do nothing. Ya I'm that friend that hooks ppl up but can't get a date.

+1 to hooking Redfort using a giant sharpened rusty bent Iron spoon while he sleeps!

I'd be up for just returning to our daily schedule, but I'd also recommend we put an emphasis on our swordplay to make us even more exceptional in that area.

The issue with that is we would need to find ourselves a better teacher. Our current one cant seem to make us any better.

What if we challenged him to a spar? We'll explain that we just want to win at the next swords or squires tourney and bring honor. An that we think fighting a stronger more experienced opponent can be the only thing to make us that much stronger.

If he says no, then plead with him that the guy from last time may come back with his really good agility and we want to be ready. Make it seem like a revenge thing but friendlier.

That could work. It will also reveal if he is holding back on us.

I would suggest spending our meantime trying to get better at riding.  Can we try to ride in armor?
