Continue to breed more from the spawning pit we have, and make another. Do some scouting around the ocean I assume is nearby. Any sea creatures that would make a good minion template?
Scout around the Tall-ones village too, to get a sense of their numbers.

How much essence would be needed to bring the starfish men's body stats up to 2 or so? Save up for that, then enhance our followers.
Then we raze the town! Capture as many as we can, sacrifice those who exist to us and enslave the rest. Also steal everything from it; it will be like a village was never there! Make sure no one escapes, can't have news getting out too early.
