We should really do that "dispose of the evidence and frame a trickster god for spiriting away the village" thing. Like  "Loki wuz here."  burned into the ground or something.

Force the villagers to tell us about rival faiths to Thor. Who knows maybe we can plant minuscule "evidence" of them being their.

Carve LOKI WUZ HERE Into the Ashes of Thor's Temple.
yes. we should do that. but be sure to leave only the ash of the temple, behind.

We should make the humans clear the surrounding area of pit traps. I think it was only lucky we managed to avoid them. Let's also destroy the Thor temple they have in the village. After everything, we'll plant some evidence that the destruction was made by one of Thor's enemies.
Sounds like a good idea.

Yep. We should re-warp the flesh of some bodies into a super golemn or two to make sure people understand just how powerful we are.
yes to both of these, though, we should only three of the unwilling tall-ones per golem. Also, have the Tall-ones cleat the village. Hell, they wanted to keep their city, let them keep it with their bare hands. anyone who drops a peice, though, should feel great pain for. . . . oh, , ,  15 minutes or so. not long so, if doing so cost any essence, it is the bare minimum of one.

Now on to my true addition to this plan:
As soon as we get back to our lair, we one of the unwilling tall ones that are left, let the starfish men use one as a sacrifice to us, another has his body ripped apart and fused to one of the spawning pools. The third will face the black, lightless flame we created earlier. it will be grafted to him and his soul. he will feel endless pain, as his skin ever slowly melts away. but, with it will come great power. The more he willingly serves us, the greater his power will become. Each ten kills he makes for us, his flame will grow stronger, and we will grant him slightly less pain, and, every 1000 kills, a new way to use his abilities. for now, he can use his flame to consume the flesh of a lesser creature (a.i. animal) and merge its flesh with his.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

Even better, why would we give people power when we can breed them with our already powerful starfishmen?

Easy, We never sever the power from ourself, So if he Turns on us, We "Cut his strings" so to speak.

Okay. We'll make it so that if he turns the fires just burn him. Am I getting this right?

We are currently completely unknown. I want to change that.

Reach out somewhere far away on this puny planet. Find a weak willed dreaming soul, and show it terrible visions and promise of great power for its services. Make it establish a cult worshipping us. If it agrees, grant it lesser hypnotic power.

Create a seed on non-euclidean bismuth with the properties that it will grow into a mighty crystal tree of starry void, it's bark leaking the worlds anima vitae, Its branches sprouting fruits of living flesh. This flesh will merge with anything living, its own type within moments and other living beings in days, Slowly until it is indistinguishable from each other.(psychological fear FTW.)
The flesh will be minorly sentient, Able to sense our wants and act accordingly.

Plant one such seed within our cave and allow its flesh to grow into our base, Let it crawl over the cave walls, Merge with our cathedral and grow outwards.
Get another seed (whether by throwing or manifesting it directly) into the village's well, Then accelerate its growth to the amount it would require to grow out of the well and for its flesh to cover the whole village, Then have it Consume the whole village in one gluttonous move. Like an inverted maw from the void. When there is nothing left retreat everything except a tiny sapling below the ground and have our central tree(in our cave) branch out, Connecting the two then move all the flesh to our cave.

All beings who die on this fleshy field will be incorporated into it almost immediately, Then hidden under a thin layer of our "false" flesh when inactive/dormant. Ripping itself out of the fleshy grounds beneath our enemy's feet and grabbing hold of them. Pinning them to the flesh for days until they merge with it, Unable to ever escape or die from starvation.

Also, Merge our physical being to the flesh structure we call a "cathedral" such that we can sense anything within it.

Do this whether they join us or not, But only do it with the villagers inside the village if they don't join us.

The Flesh Tree would cost 30-80 Essence to pull of and because of the complexity there's a 1/3 chance that you'll fail and waste the Essence, You sure?

We do have enough essence now But we should still wait until we have double the amount. Except for the consuming or planting in the village of course, That's already a done matter.

In the meantime, We could try to make a beam of voidfire that horribly disfigures anything it burns. Nothing removes fighting zeal like seeing your companions plucked down one by one without being able to help.(think reaper cannon, Red, With a core of utter black and sound to match.)

I am also assuming that everything we create has disconcerting properties to mortals by its very nature with us only needing to specify if it doesn't.

SIMPLE IN-GAME INFO UPDATE
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"You there villager, inform me of Thor's Enemies.""Yes Master, Uh well there are about 3 that cause any real problems to him, There's Loki, The God Of Trickery and Lies, But Thor and Loki are brothers and their feuding is mostly nothing but a friendly sort of rivalry. There's Makleb Supposedly "God" Of Destruction and Pain but he's no God, Just a Greater Demon that's managed to gather himself a cult among the Goblins and Orcs, His henchman and fiendish creations are always raiding and sacking our villages, But Thor is beginning to turn the tables on that fiend and it's only a matter of time before Thor smites him, Why Only an Abomination from the Void Itself could save Makleb now, Oh wait, Anyways last but not least there's an Upstart named Donut the God Of Fire,Plants and Chaos, You'd figure that Thor would be able to smite the Fool but every time he comes close Donut pulls some dirty trick out of his sleeve and stops him. But Thor isn't alone he has the Aid of Vrakkas, The God of Justice and Order, And Ruminaos,God of Light and Satisfaction. Together they form the Holy Triple Kabam, Thor came up with the pantheon name. The three of them are worshiped all throughout the land of Gidragid.
"Land Of What?""Oh yeah this land belongs to the Vast Human Empire Of Gidragid, Gidragid covers over half of the continent and has upwards of ten 100 million Citizens, The rest of the continent belongs to Makleb's kingdom, But Gidragid still hasn't conquered the Dwarven Mountainhomes, I heard that they worship something called Armok and the Dwarves go berserk and feel no fear or pain once they do. There's plenty of nomadic beast men tribes and we've been having troubles with kobolds lately, And of course there's a couple hundred feuding villages and city states that are always fighting each other, and apparently most of them worship their own village god, This village er I mean the ruins of our village used to be called Good Water, cause of the nearby river that leads to the Endless Sea 3 days walk south, But we haven't been able to use the river because of a couple of Starfish Men that have been raiding our fishermen and I can see that you've expanded them a little bit. Anyways that's all I know, My name is Joffrey by the way."Interesting."

(Loads of setting info for you to feast your eyes upon! Merry Christmas :D)

NO! Do you know nothing a taking over the world? reveal yourself only when you're ready or absolutely necessary! Why do you think we're trying to frame a different god? By the way I suggest Makleb.
