As the obese raider dies, Yamira comes clanking up.

"I'll be honest, I didn't think we would win for most of that. Thank you."

Zahir walked over to the man and pulled his hatchet out of the man's neck. Bowing his head for a few moments, he quietly muttered a few words under his breath before looking back up and cleaning his hatchet on the ground.

"The battle was not an easy one, it is true. I am sorry that you lost so many of your companions. They fought bravely, and I wish we could have protected them better. We should perhaps find a healer soon, so that we are not dependent on medicine to save us in future skirmishes."

Lazarus, the vulture that he is, immediately went about the field and the fallen (enemy fallen, to be exact, he avoided the town or their own fallen), looking for anything of possible or potential value. He whistled a cheery tune as he went about it, carefully packing any of the interesting bits found on the dead enemy soldiers in his pack.

"Well, that's one village saved!"
Gallus bumped Jazz's shoulder with his fist.
"And we only burned down half of it to do so."

[Sirus]

Jasmine glared daggers at Gallus, fed up with the performer's ribbing.

: "You. Shut up. One building out of seven does not constitute "half". Now go make yourself useful and...find something useful to do." The magesmith wiped the blood from her wounds and went over towards Zahir and Yamira, who were discussing medicine and the lack of healers. She also moved her goggles up.

: "By the gods, I'll echo that. Good thing we were all well-stocked, otherwise I'm sure more of us would have died. Not the sort of situation I'd like to repeat."

[mastahcheese]

"Oh, come on, lighten up. It could have gone a lot worse."
Gallus watched Jazz walk over to the others.
"Hey, just imagine if I tried to use magic!"
"I... guess I'll make myself useful, then."
Gallus pulls his vulnerary out of his pocket, and tosses it over to Lazarus.
"You seem to need these a lot more than I do. Have it, on the house."

Laz had just finished his battlefield scavenging, finding a few knick-knacks he feels he might be able to do something with later. Readjusting the straps on his backpack, the thief caught the tossed vulnerary and nodded, stashing it in one of his many pockets.

"Yes, you all do seem to bleed quite a bit, don't you? Hmhmhmhm!"

"I joke, it was a rousing victory. This will find good use, I'm sure, although hopefully we shall find one with a... Clerical disposition. Their talents are oft quite profitable in times like these."

Fiona grinned and hopped off of Allegro, walking over to the others who were discussing healers.
:"I seem to recall having to pick you up, Mr. "you all seem to bleed a lot", heheh. I think I was an awesome healer, myself!"

"Hmhmhm, that you did, thank you for that. You did well. Dying isn't the most pleasant experience, I can quite say."

:"Yeeeaaahh I don't imagine."

: "...well, that wasn't creepy at all. Anyway, what's the deal with that swordsman? Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but he's pretty obviously not from around here."
