"Jasmine, do you have any ideas on how we can use this minor, secondary forest to our aid?"

As Laz moved to E10, he addressed the pegasus rider.

"I would suggest checking on those in the inn. It would be good to find them hale and healthy instead of run through and bloody, yes. Hmhmhm. Do tell me how many are in there when you do, a merchant should always know their prospective customers."

Gallus huffed as he trudged through the brook to F12.

As Fiona enters the inn, she sees a trio of raiders. Fortunately for her, they're sprawled on the floor in various states of dismemberment. A cloaked man with the dragon-bone blade of a wyrmslayer stands at the ready.
"If you're another raider, I recommend turning around, friend. I'm a demon-hunter, and you Kulandrians have not made yourself dear to us. "

[Powder Miner]

Looking at the mess, Fiona grinned and peeked her head out the door to shout back to her comrades.
:"Yeah, Laz, the people in the inn aren't the ones run-through and bloody, unless you count the bandits!"
She turned back to the demon-hunter.
:"Ilan, actually, in case Allegro here didn't give it away."
She reached out to pet her pegasus, who was looking into the doorway.
:"And, I'm not a raider! In fact, I'm fighting 'em! I'm Fiona Brodie, mercenary."

[GiglameshDespair]

"That's nice to know, friend - I've no quarrel with you, then. " He lowered his sword, "I'm Tomas Gulflagon. Safe to assume you're mercenaries with the Ixani here. How goes the battle?"

:"Well! We've taken down all but one of the groups, and the rest of my group is heading around to take out the last of 'em."
