Undaunted, you perform the ritual. [Wis:1] You feel bones snapping into place, along with great amounts of pain. You arm is very sore to the point of uselessness, and your mind feels sapped. This ritual has cost 3 XP.
Over the course of 5 minutes, two figures join you in the alleyway. "Follow me to the Quarters; you will sleep there from now on," says the vampire, "Feel free to ask me any questions about 'encounters' you may have had. I know more than you think."

For the purposes of the Grand Plot, you get there. You see a man as pale as ivory, along with the "injured man" who is no longer injured. Two minutes later, your group is joined by another figure. "Follow me to the Quarters; you will sleep there from now on," says the pale man, "Feel free to ask me any questions about 'encounters' you may have had. I know more than you think."

You find a whistle and some pepper spray in a kitchen drawer, and stuff them into your pocket.
You manage to find the alleyway with no trouble, but you are frightened by what you see: a deathly pale figure stands in the shadows, with two men in front of him.  "Follow me to the Quarters; you will sleep there from now on," says the pale man, "Feel free to ask me any questions about 'encounters' you may have had. Stretching out the no longer broken arm I ask one of the others to massage it (not the pale man) also follow the pale man he knows more about what has been going on and as a occult scholar I can't just let that walk away

Although you've done most of your studies on your own, two years ago a strange man saved you from a mugger. Although he promptly left from the scene, he returned to your life many times after that. One day he approached you and revealed he was a vampire. Ever since, you have been studying under him within the Quarters, a derelict and seemingly-abandoned hotel. Just recently, he has returned with three guests: two men and a women. As you greeted them in the hallway, your master informed you that they have come to help defy the Chronicles. It triggers a few memories of him cryptically mentioning the subject, although you don't quite know what he's talking about.

Mark studys the others with his eyes "So to get this all straight we all have evil books that we learned from and now cant go out in the sunlight your" turns to woman "looking for a Christine, well we may as well compare notes on what we learned." Birger notices how tired he is "tommorrow"
