Ohh gawd... Porygon... another one of my favorites (albeit one that isn't... THAT useful).. and oddly enough I like all its cousins too... such as Castform.

Is it wrong that generation 1 has like... a large chunk of my favorite pokemon

Anyhow no it is Farfetch'd

To admit I considered making Charles a normal type trainer... but in the end it just wasn't feasible. I went underdog because I wanted Charles to be the sort of trainer who always encourages his pokemon to be their best.

i feel weird since i know i have the capability of actually 'make' those 2 pokemon you just mmention........ but it would coast alot..... castform and polygon that is

My favorite Pokemon excluding legendaries would have to be:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I don't really base my likes on power, just how awesome they look.

In-character, my guy doesn't even really know that much about Pokemon. He only has base-level Pokemon Education, after all.

I like Snorlax because he is like a giant teddybear but want to know what sold me on Snorlax?

That he learns Surf... I ALWAYS imagined he worked as some sort of mix between a inner tube and a bed... so you just lay down on his belly as he back strokes you across the water.

Fighting wise, I tend to hit his weaknesses a LOT... but honestly very little could make me give up on Snorlax.

Porygon I have no idea what I like him so much. He just sort of hits this area I love.

Then again Normal types I do like for their ability to select a large variety of moves.

With the exception of Aegislash, the rest of my favorites are Gen II and III

I like Sylveon and Gardevoir but I haaaate Fairy types. I think they're ridiculous. They're like "Yep, we're all immune to Dragon attacks. Why?... Just 'cause."
I had have went with a resistance spread that made them make more sense I would have liked them more.

There's a reason I loved steel types for a long time. Fairy types weak to steel? *evil grin*

I like the Fairy type now that I've gotten used to it, but yeah, it was pretty blatantly a type designed for re-balancing type effectiveness rather than actually making sense.
It strengthened Poison, which is one of my favorite types, while at the same time nerfing Dragon, which was one of my least favorites. It also finally gave a use to Steel type attacks.

On the other hand, other than Clefable, Granbull, Togekiss, and Gardevior, I dislike most Fairy type Pokemon, both design and game-play wise.

I still say some of the normal types should have stayed normal. Like Granbull/Snubbull should have stayed normal

The idea of a giant brawling pink bulldog being some sort of elven being is hilarious to me.

How the hell are Granbull and Snubbull fairy? O_o
That's a Pokemon that just sort of screams "I'M A NORMAL TYPE!!!" at you. Hell, I thought it *was* a normal type.

I actually love the steel-type moves. Some of my favorite moves in all of Pokemon are Metal Claw and Aerial Ace. (<--Which was steel in a romhack of FireRed I've played. For some reason.)
It's just a shame they mostly suck typing-wise (Steel moves). The damage and accuracy is usually alright though.

I always loved Aggron. It's design is so cool, but it's typing and move-set leave a lot to be desired. It seems like it should've been on the same level as the Pseudo-legendaries like Dragonite and Tyranitar. Even a Mega Evolution didn't do it much good.

On an unrelated note:
Highmax, you seem to have missed one of my actions in the other thread where I attempt to feed Claire.
