those are imaginary creatures. DO you feel women are imaginary?
What if I encountered a pygmy, or a little person? Will my video game experience promote violence against small people because those fantasy races were small?

And last I checked, women in reality didn't run around with rifles or swords and try to kill me.

People who try and tell you that the law comes down harder on women are not being straight with you, smeeprocket. There is no evidence for an anti-woman bias in the court system, quite the opposite.

This is true. Women nearly always get less harsh sentences when compared to men, especially if they have children.

If you are going to troll, just stop. Go away. I'm not going to argue with a troll.

That does not sound like a troll to me. It just sounds like someone you strongly disagree with.

you are wrong in the instances I stated, also I edited my post to link to a study about the equal sentencing laws that are pushing harder sentences for women.

But retaliation against domestic abusers always causes longer sentences than the abusers themselves face, even if women get it a bit easier in general.

Nor do I know of a source for the "especially if they have children"

I'm not. I just responded to your strawman responce, cause you ignored what I wrote and fixated your response on the analogy I used.

Asking ridiculous questions is trolling. It has nothing to do with disagreeing with him. He's asking the questions to be a problem, not debate the issue.

Actually it was about race, sexism is relevant.

The problem I am having is I am having to work from the very bottom up to even get to the issues with games.

you are wrong in the instances I stated, also I edited my post to link to a study about the equal sentencing laws that are pushing harder sentences for women.
There are big disparities in sentencing between men and women. It's fairly common knowledge. You can probably find a hundred sources by googling 'sentencing disparity by gender'

But retaliation against domestic abusers always causes longer sentences than the abusers themselves face

Source?

I read your first source, smeeprocket, and nowhere does it say that females get longer sentences than males for the same crimes. It says that:

1. Equal sentencing has led to women getting longer sentences.
2. This means that pregnant women are imprisoned and there are bad effects on the children as a result.
3. This disproportionately effects black women since they are more likely to offend, especially for drugs offences.
4. Drugs sentences are too long, especially when compared to rape sentences.
5. Some more lenient sentences should be made for pregnant women for the sake of the child.
6. Alternatives to incarceration should be considered.

As for the second source, do you think that a socialist feminist website might just be a little partisan in its view of things, and more neutral sources like the first should be considered as well? I also see no signs of source links there. Have the same standards for your sources as ours.

What. Trolling is a set of actions aiming to deliberately anger another person. Asking questions about real or perceived holes in your line of argumentation, regardless of your emotional response to it, is not trolling.

the first source says there are now laws in some places to sentence women equally to men, that is what equal sentencing is.

That is bad because it does not take a number of factors into account, since you are just generalizing the crime.

I'm having a problem getting a better second source because it keeps linking to victims getting retaliation against them in one way or another by abusers, as opposed to the topic I am discussing.

you're telling me that using goblins and hobbits as an example of violence in comparison to women is anything but trolling? right.
