This sounds really cool. Crap at building ships, haven't played StarMade in ages, and frankly I wasn't good at the game in the first place, but still, I'd like to join. Username is flameboy99 in game as well. I probably won't be able to play for a bit, given Christmas is almost upon us and all, but I should be on before too long.

More along the lines of people lost interest.  I would assume due to the distance required for the travel.  OR the black hole...

Might be better to go for a new server entirely.  One with a higher max speed maybe.
