Some players from the ¨In Search of Sanctuary¨ game will get slightly lifted or heightened spots in game for storyline reasons.
Those in specific are, Patrick Hunt, PewdsRocks, Andres, and Mr. Void. (PM me prior to joining if you are one of these people and want your earned higher in game position. If not then just join as a normal player.)
Whats happening?
Sanctuary, a paradise in the middle of a wasteland of zombies has expanded its borders. Why? because its people thirst for an out of working on a farm or repairing vehicles/machinery the rest of their lives and only so many are allowed to join the scouts, guards, and officers of Sanctuary. To fulfill this want, Sanctuary has reclaimed a city to its north, a city surrounded by hills and in the middle of a large plain. Here it grabs a foothold in the wastes that it has fought to keep. Two large military forces work and train in this now reclaimed and growing city used for food production and military field training. This city is named Requiem and it is a peaceful village compared to the metropolis that is Sanctuary.
During the reclaim of Requiem, a military group to the south that has been in control of a large fort and factory district assisted in sending a group of wanderers to Sanctuary in exchange for establishing communications with the city. The wanderers did not fail in this mission and the militarized factory district to the south of Sanctuary has been inhabited and used to produce defenses, weapons, vehicles, and above all else power. This city now named Elysium, has a working nuclear reactor that powers the three cities.
A cure for the zombie virus was found in the brain of one wanderer who had been (like several others) set in deep sleep by the people who released the virus. The man died in the extraction and but a cure now exists but it only works on the sick and not the dead infected that wander the wastes.
Roughly 25 years after these events the three cities are thriving, with populations exceeding tens of thousands. Many of the new people are refugees from the wastes. Requiem is training the elite of the military in the area, Sanctuary is creating technological advancements that haven't been seen in many a year, and Elysium is mass producing the basic things that keep the cities alive.
Elysium and Requiem have been vying for political power over Sanctuary.
How did the populations become so large?
Requiem took in a large migration of Sanctuary citizens looking to be free from the heavily ordered and regulated lives of Sanctuary, switching to the militaristic and humanitarian cause of Requiem.
Sanctuary has been taking in many new nomads and raiders who have given up their ways.
Elysium has taken a small stipend of Sanctuary citizens as a work force and many scavenger migrating in looking for an easy living with only having to work in the factories to gain the food and housing they so desperately sought.
Choose your side-
Requiem- humanitarian and militaristic
Sanctuary- heavily ordered and farm labor
Elysium- Factory working and conscripted army
Sanctuary’s blood is the product of Elysium and its immunity is Requiem. Requiem has been trying to advance society to save those living in the wastes and suffering the plight of survival and Elysium is looking for a work force to create a vast empire in the wastes, promising an easy living for their citizens and the enslavement of those conquered in the waste.
In game your character is a militant from one of the cities of your choice.
Each city has special units or regular infantry, for these there are special load outs for each city so make sure that your city and loadout match.
