"That works just fine - maybe then we'd end up in a fight we'd actually enjoy since no one wants to try their luck with an old geezer. Hmm...take a few puffs on the pipe, I'll go in that way."

As he speaks, his form loses cohesion until it's a vaguely man-shaped mist of spiral energy that stretches out into a long rope, with the tip sticking into the bowl of Jesse's pipe.

Jesse lifts an eyebrow, but goes with it, taking a few puffs on her pipe as his essence flowed into her body.

"You good?"

[Xantalos]

"Yes indeed."

Tömas pauses for a second, letting the taste of the smoke wash through his essence.

"This stuff isn't half bad. Do you grow it yourself or get it from someone else?"

[FelixSparks]

Buki nodded. "Of course. Sorry to have taken up so much of your time, sir." He salutes, and waits to be dismissed.

Something about this felt too... planned. He couldn't prove it, but he'd put money on there being another attack, and soon.

"Buy it. Mix it myself, though. I know how I like it, most suppliers don't. Plus, it's cheaper that way."

She blows a nearly perfect circle into the air, expression a little lighter.

"Glad the pipe didn't break during that fight. Hate to lose it."

"Makes sense, and anything's always better with a personal touch. Speaking of which, it's good that the pipe didn't get broken. It's one of the things that you seem to really treasure, and if I'd have any life advice for you it's hold onto the things you treasure. Maybe get it reinforced or something."

Hey PN, could it be possible for (don't know if this would count toward it being a good item or not) Tömas to try to infuse Jesse's pipe with some Spiral energy to make it more durable? Or is that not how this stuff works?

Buki pauses. "Yes sir?"

Eun, having finished the repairs on Slagteeth and installing a new fun toy, silently waits outside Viral's place, listening to the conversation between him and Buki.

Jesse snorts at the old man's comment.

"Yeah, well, got it from my grandpa. About a month before he died, actually. It's lasted this long. Well-made, I think is why. He always had an eye for that sorta stuff."

Her eyes get slightly misty as she stares off before she shakes her head and takes a long pull on the pipe, letting the smoke sit before pushing it all out again.

"So how come you even want to be around, if there's so many beastmen and shit that you hate?"

Buki pauses. "Yes sir?"

"You're a good kid. Don't change."

Buki salutes and exits the room, bumping into Eun on his way out.

"Ah, sorry, didn't mean to bump into you... You alright?"

Eun nods, "Why wouldn't I be? Your theory on a possible war is interesting. Did you mention the part where the beast tossed Viral at me and then went after the Gurren?"

"Kinda forgot about that one... Yeah, all of this is wrong... I think something BIG is about to happen...."

He looks towards the stars again, biting his lip.

"I wish Simon and Yoko were here too...."
