"Hey, I'm not enjoying this any more than you, kid. My employers specifically said to watch you like a hawk. I may be getting paid a lot for this, but it doesn't mean I'm happy with it."

Buki turns to face her, a disapproving look on his face. "Employers this, Employers that... Don't you have any thoughts of your own? And to be honest, I'm getting kind of sick of these employers of yours. I'm just a half-breed kid with nothing to his name. I mean that literally, what I've got in this bag is all I got. My mom.... passed away when I was a kid. My dad was more recent, but thanks to some Weasel, and I do mean that both figuratively and literally, he was a weasel-like beastman, I got written out of the will entirely. That's one of the main reasons I was in Giha. I didn't really have anywhere else to go. I get by mostly on the goodwill of others and my fists. If your employer is so scared of me that they think I need a babysitter, tell em they better come watch me themselves. I have a habit of being a bad influence on people."

He finished unpacking his bag, a small doll sitting on top of the pile. It was a doll of Kittan, the old motivational one that came out a few years ago, with a grin, one eye closed, a thumb up, and a shirt that read "YOU CAN DO IT!"

Galen puases and looks around for what feels like the hundredth time. He turns back to the papers that he filled out by now. He frowns and sighs to himself.
"Should have known she'd leave me.... they always do."
Galen stands up and folds the papers before starting to leave in a semi-depressed state.

"I just want to make sure that in the process of saving the world, you don't end up blowing it up. I rather enjoy living, and I haven't done enough of it for my liking." Reina flops down on the other bed, unslinging her napsack and dropping it onto a nightstand. "That and..." She sighs, staring up at the ceiling. "Believe it or not... There are things in this world I want to protect. Oh, and by the way..." She says, pulling her tanktop over her head, "I don't wear pajamas either."

Buki shrugs, turning his back to her as he shrugs off his jacket, his mind still reeling from everything that had happened today. Most of all, he couldn't get his mind off of the Spiral Nemesis. If he and the others couldn't find SOME WAY to stop it, that was the end of everything... He shook the thought out of his head, and turned to Reina. "Would you follow me to the roof for a minute?"

Reina raises an eyebrow. "Why? What are you getting at?"

"Head's a bit too clouded." He begins to stretch, limbering up a bit. "Sparring always helps me out. Plus, I still don't believe you're Yoko's daughter, and this would help prove your case."

"Sure. Get ready to have your butt handed to you, kid." Reina gets up from the bed and follows Buki to the roof, not bothering to put her tanktop back on.

[FelixSparks]

"You uh.... Gonna cover up? We're not exactly the only people in the hotel..." He pauses at the door, shaking his head.

"I'm not really used to sparring with too many clothes on. They get in the way. My mom wore a more revealing bra than this on a daily basis anyway. _{It was really more of a bikini...}"

((I chafe at calling Yoko's clothes a 'bikini'. ))
"Mind if I watch your sparring?"
Ao is behind them, adjusting his mask slightly.

((Well what would you call them then?))

Buki turns to face Ao, thinking. "I don't mind.... but I have a condition."
