Buki surges forward, raw spiral power blurring his form as he closes in to punch Jesse. A few feints of energy lash out, one from the right, another from above, and a third straight on. They were all harmless, of course, distracting from his REAL attack, a left hook to the jaw.

"It was combat. A strike anywhere is to be expected."

"And now it isn't combat. Figured I'd apologize."

Ao carefully adjusts his mask again to ensure it's fixed on straight.

Jen lifts up one side an inch or two.
"There."

He twists a small gear in the side of the mask that fastens the straps together and tighter over his face.

Jen nods then takes a swig.
"May I ask why you wear the mask?"

"Personal reasons."

[Projeck37]

"Fair enough."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

A final click tells Ao that the mask is as fastened as it possibly can be on his face.
"It's a reminder of something I have to do."
