Noticing Galen's difficulty standing, and apparent refusal to find a doctor, Jesse walks over to him, and as she closes, finds they're about the same height. The man's sheer bulk means that it's rather strange to see when she picks him up, as she doesn't have the same sizable build; apparently she's stronger than she looks, and the girl certainly doesn't look weak.

"You need a doctor, friend," she says quietly. "And don't try to walk; you're hurt bad enough as it is."

Jesse looks over at the rest of the group before following Buki, since he seemed to know where he was going.

And if he didn't, well...Jesse knew where some doctors were, she'd grown up around here, after all. And she could help him find a doctor if he couldn't find one on his own.

There it was, on the outskirts of town. The Spiral Specialist... he stumbled into the office, accidentally leaving a smear of blood on the door.

"Hey Doc! You in? I got an emergency patient!

Galen struggles weakly before letting himself go limp.
"I coulda... walked mysef' ya know..."

Ao announces Galen and Jesse's entry into the office, presumably.

The slim man with pale skin and short white hair sat in his office chair. He turned around and adjusted his square glasses, looking at the group in curiosity.
 "Dammit Buki, you know damn well that I'm a scientist and not a doctor.. bring em' up and tell me where it hurts."

Makan just follows off towards the doctor. To go see if anyone needed any help, of course.

C.L.A.I.R watches the action with a confused look "The monster was a young girl? I guess there is much I do not know."

She flag down one of the fighters still around "You, good sir/madam, I need to know where I have arrived."

"Vivs, you have a PHD, that makes you a doctor. And she's the one I'm worried about."

He set her gently on a table, the hole in his chest a bit more visible as he sets her down.

Ao just broods near the entrance, watching over the rest of the group.

Galen struggles weakly before letting himself go limp.
"I coulda... walked mysef' ya know..."

"Nah you couldn't've. You coulda stumbled your way to one, and made all this a whole heck of a lot worse than it already is."

Her slightly mocking smile faded as she watched Buki deal with the doctor. In a quieter tone, such that only Galen could hear, she continued.

"...It was a brave thing you did, back there. Not just getting involved, but trying to fight even with how bad you're hurt..."

Her face was somber, though not quite grim, as she spoke, still holding him, large as he was, without difficulty. She was probably the strongest of all of them, physically. It's why she practiced fighting, or part of why. She had to protect the people who couldn't protect themselves.

The doctor examines the beast girl.
 "Spiral overload, it seems. For some reason some select people have been experiencing such a phenomenon lately.. likely a result from a mutation in their genome that becomes active after long exposure to spiral energy. Why these mutations are occurring now and not earlier is a mystery."

Galen lets out a grunt as he smirks with a pained expression.
"Eh, bravery's the easy part. The hard part is not letting it kill ya."

Jen sits alone. Huzzah.

"I could hazard a guess.... You got anything for holes in the chest?" The beam was starting to hurt, and the wind blowing through the hole didn't help much.

"Suck it up, buttercup."

A figure stands in the doorway, appearing to be a teenage girl covered in black oil smudges. She's wearing a black tank top and jeans, and her red hair is tied in a pony tail. Her eyes are green, and there is a wrench hanging from her belt.
 "Hey dad, hey Buki," she says before entering.
 "Hey there."
