Buki is, meanwhile, pinned to the other wall, staring at Leeron in horror, the signed military form clutched tight to his chest.

Jen nods slowly, then sets the paper back down. She stares at Leeron for a moment.

Leeron winks at Jen before going back to torturing Reina.

"Oh... Yeah, uh... Mom says hello, by the way."

Jen blink, then proceeds to stand.

 "How's she doing? I've been so busy here, I couldn't see her..."

Tömas puts his face in his hands.

You ... you put the most fucking elite military unit you have in the charge of a beastman. A beastman specially modified by Lordgeonome no less. You ... you put a being that was created for the sole purpose of exterminating and suppressing humanity ... in charge of your elites. I- I can't even. I'm not even going to try to rationalize why you all might tolerate them. You're all crazy.

"eh, by the way, i've been meaning to ask.. who's the, uhm, the guy?" President Rossiu gestures to Tomas.

Tömas Macfeegan, Secondary General in Terra's Armed Forces, from the First Spiral War. I was killed by the traitor Lordgeonome and decided to stick around.

Leeron immediately jumps up and starts probing Tomas with scientific instruments.

He quickly floats up out of reach.

Hey hey hey now, a man's body is his own! Also, I'd rather not be dissipated by being poked with measurement instruments of all things.

Buki looks to Tomas, fire in his eyes. His body is tense, and the paper in his hands is shaking furiously, threatening to tear itself to ribbons merely by being close to the youth. His mouth turns to a snarl, revealing some rather sharp incisors...

"You wanna know why we TOLERATE beastmen? Well, I can't speak for everyone... But I, for one, AM THE SON OF ONE." He roars, sick of the ghost's attitude. He turned to the door, bowing to Leeron and Rossiu again. "Thank you for this opportunity. I will report to Commander Viral later today." He then made for the door, looking at Tomas over his shoulder. "Next time I see you, if the first thing out of your fucking mouth isn't an apology, you'd better run." With that, Buki left, sprinting down the stairs and out of the building, into the crowded streets.

"I'm so very confident in this team already!" Reina says as her mouth practically drips with sarcasm. She turns in her form and heads out the door. "Sorry we didn't meet on better circumstances, Leeron. We'll catch up later. I've got to calm this kid down before he does something stupid. _{The things I do for money...}"

Buki's made his way to the Kamina City Cemetery, and when Reina tracks him down, he's sitting in front of a pair of tombstones. The inscription on the left reads "Maria Rogan, Loving Mother, Taken too soon." Her date of death is 17 years prior to today. The inscription on the right reads "Alex Rogan. Caring Father, Valiant Warrior, Died as he Lived, Protecting others." The date of death is 10 years ago. Buki isn't turning from them, and is sitting with his eyes closed.

Tömas for his part stares at the doorway where Buki was incredulously.
The son of one of those things? _{But that doesn't even...} he trails off.
