Best way to kick logic to the curb is to use spiral power. Best way to use spiral power is in a fight. Best way to get a lot of fights going on at once is a war. If the other side uses Spiral power, even better, more to harness!

I know, I was watching. That was with the death of the Anti-Spiral that it exploded. Point being, the only way to get anything done is to get in a big ol' fight. Ao, I didn't fight for anything but war itself. I fight to fight. Look, if we make it a defensive war, manipulate another nation to attack us first, would you feel better about it? It's the only way to release the buildup of Spiral energy. It's happening now that there's no big fight going on, so it must be building up in people somehow.

That's not exactly a bad thing, we just need to devote some of it to stopping the Spiral Nemesis.

Actually, I remember it more now. Nemesis was the result of creating so much extra matter with Spiral power that the universe collapsed into a black hole. All we need to do is permanently destroy a sufficient amount of matter proportional to the rate at which new matter is being created.

We aren't crushed by war, far from it. We thrive on a fight.

Yes. The lie would become truth in the end, because war makes monsters out of all participants.

Anyway, I figure this cause is as good as any, and you'll need as much help as you can get. I think we need to re-form Team Dai-Gurren. It's only a start, with the people we came in with, but I have no doubt that we can pick up more recruits and get stronger along the way. We'll need funding..." She looks at Leeron. "Mind giving a favor to the daughter of an old friend?"

Buki chuckles at Reina's suggestion. "If we're making a Neo Dai Gurren Brigade, then I have to go find a Gunmen to steal. Hopefully there are some bandits around... But I like this plan. We can investigate any more cases of Spiral Overload while using Kamina City as a base... we can use my place as a starting point."
