Group's splitting up and I've nothing better to do.

"Mom? She's... er... mom, I guess. From what I usually hear and or read about her in her early days, she's definitely mellowed out in middle-age. She's still an amazing shot, although I kind of ended up taking her old rifle with me, so she won't have much time to practice anymore."
Reina scratches the back of her head and gives an embarrassed smile. "I'm just glad she doesn't wear that weird getup she uses for training around in public. Showing off all that skin is a little embarrassing..."
"As for the school, well, it's mostly for little kids. Most of the kids on the island eventually get taken on as apprentices in whatever field they choose, so we usually don't see anyone past the age of 12 there. She's a great teacher, though. So's my dad, when he feels like it. He taught me how to maintain my weapons and how to modify them with spare parts. I usually try to keep them in good shape."

Buki nods, listening intently. "So she DID settle down... guess I owe Roy a Pigmole steak.... damn."

Jesse did not like the fact that the group was splitting up.

However, as Buki at least seemed to be doing something practical for the moment, she decided to follow him and the sniper.

As she caught up to them slowly, thanks to her long stride, she lit her pipe again.

They approach the big metallic, futuristic looking building of the Galactic Research Institute, and walk into a massive lobby of plexiglass and white metal towering like a skyscraper.

After a while, Tömas follows after Buki.

Buki approaches the front desk, humming a song to himself.

"Excuse me, is Leeron in today?"

"Yes... would you like an appointment sir?" asks the customer service girl.

Buki nods. "As soon as possible, please."
