"There has to be another way apart from genocide or using Anti-Spiral Energy."

"If there is, then nobody both spiral and anti-spiral have found it."

"Will using alternative power sources halt the progress, then?"

"Elaborate."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"If we were to find an alternate power source, independent of Spiral Energy or Anti-Spiral Energy, and use that to power everything else, would that be capable of halting the progress until we find a more permanent solution?"

[PrivateNomad]

"Humanity's population is too high. The spiral energy generated by the population alone fuels the Spiral Nemesis. Electricity or heat alone will not suffice as a viable energy source."

Eun ponders all that is said.

"Why the hell is there an energy created by despair, anyway? Hope, maybe, whatever. But despair?

Ugh. It doesn't matter. You guys were anti-spiral beings; couldn't we, like, set you up really big in some nearby galaxy or something? Wouldn't that work? Since the interaction would prevent either a Spiral Nemesis or an Anti-Spiral Nemesis from happening?"

"In this galaxy, the spiral power is so great that it will still bring the Spiral Nemesis. Other galaxies hardly matter."

"So what I'm hearing..." Reina comes forward, arms crossed. "Is that the world is out of balance. Ideally, Spiral and Anti-Spiral energy should be being generated in equal amounts. Too much of either is a bad thing. I would guess that there's an Anti-Spiral Nemesis, as well. Balance shouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. After all, success doesn't taste as sweet without despair along the way, does it?"

"There is no such thing as an Anti-spiral Nemesis. If that was so, why would the Anti-Spiral race exist?"

"Well, there's such thing as a Spiral nemesis and spiral races exist."

"Think about it. If the Spiral Nemesis brings everything together until it all collapses in on itself, what happens when the opposite occurs? Everything gets further and further apart until everything just becomes little particles floating through space. It makes sense, doesn't it?"

"The universe already does that. Galaxies do not simply drift apart into particles."

"So basically the Anti-Spiral Nemesis, and damn that's an unwieldy name, I'm just gonna call it the ASN, but so basically it just happens on a larger scale because the universe itself is mostly empty and Anti-Spiral is the basic state of the universe?"

Jesse grins and scoffs slightly.

"Solution's simple, then. Make the Spiral bigger."
