Buki goes along with the feint, but will pull away at the last second if it looks like Jesse won't be able to react in time.

Eun was about to heartily agree to the fight, but then Buki decided to train Jesse. Instead, Eun practices moving in Slagteeth. It has been a really long time since she last piloted it.

Jesse reacts instinctively, and the Gunmen follows her. The arms come up, and the wheel looks full, almost like a compass, before she nearly impales Buki's Gunmen with the follow up.

Buki grins, a shell of spiral energy keeping the points from spearing into his cockpit. Thank GOD for the massive spiral reserve they had due to the combining.

(Also I just realized generating those shields is a lot cheaper due to the Rapture's Embrace's perk.)

Everyone's meters reverberate to a low, and then back to normal, as a dark purple pulse suddenly speeds across the land, accompanied by a loud and grotesque shriek in the distance.
The Enki turns to the sound, staring off in the distance.
 "What the hell?" he questions before speaking in the radio, "HQ, did you get that?"
 "Yes sir.. not quite sure what it was.. seems to have fluctuated our systems."

But Tomas winced as pain flashed across his body; a familiar pain. In that moment he knew that a pulse of anti-spiral energy just passed by.
