I pull out the silver bolt stuck in my rib cage. It hurts. It would be nice if it stopped bleeding soon. I claim Hexlulls as my own.
Nobody complains, so I guess that counts, right?
Travelling back to the dwarven ruin I find a small group of refugees huddled together in a tent.
I think they look in poor enough shape so I leave them alone.
In the ruins I determine to make things for myself, as there is nothing suitable to find around here. I make
groundhog leather backpack
*muskox leather waterskin*
-muskox leather shield-
Fortunately I no longer see any signs of poltergeists, although I continue to keep a wary eye out. I head out to hunt for leather. When I get back, the signs of ghosts are back! I don't think I could live here, it's very unnerving. I manage to kill a muskox and make some *muskox leather armor*. And then it is time to sleep.
In the morning I hunt down some owls and make
snowy owl leather leggings
*snowy owl leather helm*
snowy owl leather high boot
*snowy owl leather high boot*
-snowy owl leather robe-
=snowy owl leather tunic=
snowy owl leather cloak
+snowy owl leather trousers+
snowy owl leather loincloth
I think I'm getting the hang of this making stuff thing. Oh hey! Maybe that blue stuff lying around can be used for something. Much time passes. In my backpack I have 8 adamantine wafers, 5 adamantine strands and one raw adamantine.
Suddenly YETI!
Yeti are tough, but after a lot of dodging and blocking I prevailed.
Much, much, later and my inventory includes the following:
I have also used up all the logs left in the ruin. I am now breaking into the caverns hidden behind rock constructions below.
The first cavern is bare, nothing but mud and spider webs. The opening to the second cavern is above a large underwater lake. I try fishing there, but after a long time catch nothing. Now feeling really quite hungry I head out to hunt. Only to find a thick fog covering everything again. I travel south far enough for the fog to clear. For a while I fear I will only find ravens, but I finally catch a couple of white storks.
Back at the dwarven ruin I manage to cross the underground lake to find land, but forgot to make an axe! I'm pretty sure there were a bunch of silver axes laying around, but with the fog (again) it is very hard to find anything. In the end I find a copper axe in the (previously) barren first cavern. Now there are random items strewn around down there! It can only be the work of ghosts again. ^ ^;
With a fresh source of wood I return to work. After much time:
