Home team
Continue helping with the puppies.
"Second set of puppies are in age suitable for birth." announces infirmary.
You give birth to these little monsters. In other words you pick them up from tubes, cut their umbilical cords, give them a quick wash and set them at feeding machines. It's like replay of film you watched half hour ago, except these do not bump at things so much.
Huggle some puppies.
You could keep huggling these puppies forever. How about kisses?
Yes, kisses are good! Puppies lick your face all wet and slimy.
In totally unrelated news, Ghost in the Shell was great show. I probably should watch all those again some day.
Red team
Oh shit. Get muh rifle ready!
"You're just paranoid.
"I'm not a biologist, but couldn't something mimic a rock? Maybe it's worth a closer look. From a distance."
Pendle grabs a few rocks, tells Naveah and all the others to stand back from it, and begin pelting the boulder with stones.
Nevaeh and Cromwell both aim their rifles at the rock ready to shoot it pieces. Pendle throws small stone at it. Nothing happens. He throws bigger one. Again nothing.
Maybe you should believe what biologist says?
However now that multiple pairs of eyes are staring at the rock it becomes clear that rock is not moving closer to water but water is moving closer to rock. And
these two types of creatures change their course from northward to north east towards pillar and speed up. Other creatures either are swimming or don't seem to care.
"I'm no way an expert when it comes to animal behaviour, but... isn't that a bit unusual? And as expert cave explorer I can tell that rising water levels in caves is usually bad sign."
"I agree. We should move."
Green team
"Well I personally dont want to get stuck down there and suffacate or get a puncture and drown so I elect to come back later when we have equipment for underwater. For now lets join up with the other group."
Stay with the group
Your team is still at least a hour of speedy walking away from them. And in light of recent events...
"Yeah, punctured suit under water is probably gonna be bad."
"Ok then, we'll leave this tunnel for later. Now back towards east!"
Anyway, this team gets back to main tunnel.
You left from outpost at 9:00. Time is now ~12:30.
White grid in the map divides area into manageable chunks. Crossing each white line means walking for half hour, so time flies fast here.
