((Do we have stasis banks or something?))
Request a book on training hunting dogs with an explanation as to why. Then start fast growing elephant kidneys. Try to bring mark 3's pain tolerance to average. Also set up a meat grinder to grind the kidneys into paste after cloning and put in in a trough.
I have created a breed of fast growing functionally immortal super hunting dogs. However I forget that they need ridiculous amounts of protein shortly after being born and so I plan to make a super plant for sustainable breeding.
((Your doggies are not immortal. You only looked up how to do it, but never implemented it.))
Request sent. You might get it on next turn.
Elephant kidneys growing.
Lowered pain tolerance seems to be related to the generator organ somehow. You manage bring it to avarage level without lowering output of the organ too much.
You visit kitchen for inspiration and engineers quarter for materials and build your meat grinder. Infirmary is kind enough to lend one of its drones to handle grinding process.
Great flaming Christ I've got to report this! Call an individual from maintenance to my room on the comm. I've got a few words for your department pal get your ass down here I don't believe this shit- Et cetera until he gets here.
He comes along with cleaning bot and apologizes fervently for its failure. He puts the bot on work and observes how it ignores all areas that are under beds.
"I'll send this bot to engineers so they can fix its programming. Please be patient until then." He says and leaves with the bot.

"Strange place, that's for sure."
Cromwell marked the walls again.
"Let's see how deep this place goes."
Keep heading east-ward, through the large passage.
"True" Cole agrees. "But then again this is not Earth. Strange things are to be expected."
Follow the group in silence.
Cole and Micah both take samples of rubies from the wall before continuing trek to east. Another half hour of later tunnel suddenly ends into waterfall.
"So this is where this sea cave ends." Cole says while looking up. "This is certainly longest cave of this type I have ever seen or heard of. Looks like stone type changes up there, most likely into a limestone or similar. And... the tunnel seems to continue up there as well. I must admit, mountain climbing is my hobby so scaling up this wall is really attractive. Not to mention magnetic distortion is still growing in this direction."
"I'm hungry."
"Ah, yes. We should have a lunch break before climbing up." he says, already pulling out ropes and other climbing tools.
Green team
"The crystals appear to vibrate when we look at them...this is very odd. Any idea why they seem to be doing this?"
Examine the gem I have. If it starts vibrating look away and see if it stops.
The piece of crystal you got appears to have very thin hollow core. And indeed, as you bring it in front of your helmet cameras so you can see it it starts vibrating, slowly increasing intesity. Opposite also holds true.
"It just isn't possible. Crystals are not sentient or anything so looking at it can't be cause. Must be something else. Hmm, maybe it is light?"
Activate thermal and use it to watch for heat spikes
"This is some weird shit."
With thermal overlay active you can essentially confirm Briana's theory. When looking at crystals on wall only those which are in light of your headlamp start warming up. When you turn light off they stop warming and cool back to ambient temperature.
"Cool, I want to see if they will explode if exposed to enough light."
"We could try it. Did anyone bring opaque boxes? Because I didn't..."
You left from outpost at 9:00. Time is now ~11:30.
White grid in the map divides area into manageable chunks. Crossing each white line means walking for half hour, so time flies fast here.
