When away team makes it back to base, dose each with the vaccines (Including myself and others not on Team 1).

Right, you head to the infirmary and get yourself vaccinated first. It would be a bad thing if the only doctor would fall ill. You prepare enough syringes for everyone on ship and vaccinate them all. Now it is just waiting for away team.

((I said that it was the easy part. Not that it was easy.))
Get one of the four eyed birds and extract some stem cells. Then make what I've currently got.

Cells extracted, mutant DNA fabricated and injected and cells set to grow fast in the infirmary tubes. It will be size of new born puppy in two turns and full grown in five. Growth speed may chance depending how much time passes per turn.

Bugs eh? Screw this, go get lunch at the cafeteria. I wonder how long I'll be stuck here in quarantine, stupid birds and their stupid forest.

Spoiler: SECRETS (click to show/hide)

What? Bugs are not fun? Not long ago you were chasing after them so happily.

Oh well, cafeteria it is. Looks like you are only one here, if not counting the chef, so you get to enjoy your lunch alone.

Bugs. I love... bugs. If I could, I would watch bugs... all... day!
Prod a bug with my finger, those little cutie pies, they.

I'm sure you do love them. Too bad you are too unconscious to enjoy of them, eh?

Ensure the birds get back to base with no more excaping with tazeing skills
Agree with my co-workers. Get this haul back to base.

Comms on.
"Science and Medical teams! I want you guys ready to receive a ton of specimens! Dead and living! We got those birds and more. Over."
Ensure the birds get back to base with no more excaping with tazeing skills
Help with this.

Birds are packed nice and tight, they are not escaping from these boxes. Adam drives first and Cromwell right behind him ensuring nothing falls off. I assume Mark would fly Guni's flyer back into the base because there isn't much reason to leave it behind.

Once you get back inside the base you unload the haul for scientists to study. While you are doing that doctor Pendle arrives and jams syringes through your suits, injecting funny looking liquids on you. Probably vaccines.

To allow doctors help people your suits have specially prepared injection ports in various spots. With disinfective liquids bleeding from shielded syringes doctor can safely inject painkillers, anesthetics and other medicine in field without risking infection. So don't worry, he's not breaking your suits.

"Prepared to try and isolate the venom that incapacitated Guni. Aside from maybe studying the microorganisms that may be harmful to humans on and within the beasts, I can't think of many other uses the medical wing will have  for them."
Prepare to isolate and study the venom.

You identify the bird Guni drew so you take the dead one into labs and start dissecting it. Being a doctor you know enough of anatomy to identify a venom gland... but you can't find one, not anything even remotely like a venom gland. Actually, this bird doesn't even have anything that could be used do deliver venom. Hmm.

Now what?

Alex Raman: Your neck itches really badly. As you scratch it you find your fingertips are stained in blood...

General message!
"Update on the birds that paralyzed Guni. Examining a caught sample, I can't find any evidence of a poison gland whatsoever."

We have three different types of dead birds. Please be more specific.

"Damn it, Pendle! A little more warning next time, will you?"

Jackson rubbed his arm and got himself disinfected, and got back into his normal clothes.
Head down to science. I want to see them examine these birds.
Comms to science/medical.
"No toxins? At all? What's it got then?"

Do I still have my suit on? Turn on the comm and switch to our team's channel. Hey doc am I still quarantined? There's not much to do on this tub and I'd like to get back out there and help, y'know?

Cromwell stopped for a second and flipped his comms switch over to a different channel.
"Guni, did you see what part the bird stung you with? Was the beak, talons, what?"
He looked over at Pendle.
"Did you just check around the head and beak, or did you do a full exam of the entire body? That thing had to have done something to her. If it's not a toxin..."

He switched back to the comm.
"That's a negative on being released, Guni. We need to find out what happened to you first."

He looked back at Pendle, Mark, and the others around him.
"Find anyone in base that's been in contact with Guni since she was stung, anyone acting sick, or just anybody that looks at you funny, and bring them to quarintine. I just got a very bad feeling about all this.
I'm heading down there myself, if anyone needs me."
Head to Quarintine, and station myself there for now.

Not really I was busy being unconscious at the time. Didn't you find the bird?

He switched back to the comm.
"That's a negative on being released, Guni. We need to find out what happened to you first."
Bluh. Affirmative. ((Being locked up makes for some stellar gameplay. -.-))

He looked back at Pendle, Mark, and the others around him.

I saw [SaberTooth] earlier and he was fine, I'm in the cafeteria right now. What do you want me to do?

"Very well."
Begin doing so.
Flip over to medical and security channels.

"This is Doctor Pendle. Head of Security has given orders for full quarantine of the individual Guni, and any who's come into contact with her between beginning of her fever-like symptoms and now, effective immediately. Nonviolent methods preferable, but you are permitted to use nonlethal force while engaging or enforcing quarantine. Lethal force is forbidden unless you are in immediate risk of death or severe injury."

((I would assume I'm not the only doctor on the ship, or at the very least we have bots capable of understanding verbal commands.))
