You do not have any monkeys here besides your fellow Homo Sapiens. While you do have very exhaustive database about Earth animals, inluding DNA mappings, only tissue samples on ship are that of human. Fabricating DNA of monkey is possible, but cloning it requires much more than mere DNA. So expect some funny/lethal mutations or simply tumor growth. Like I said earlier, the systems here are optimized for humans.

Not a single Earth animal. Except few pets on mothership on orbit and those are not coming down. Their owners will probably shoot you if you go asking for pieces of their pets. Humans have caused enough problems by bringing animals to lands where they have no natural predators so they are not going to repeat that mistake with entire planet.

Like Alex stated, there's still ex-head of security you can clone. Or you could create your own clone. If you stop its growth early then you don't have to wait a week before it is adult. Alternatively you could use local animals, but with those your changes are even worse.

Let's say clones are biologically alive, but sped up growth process fucks up development of brains, so they are not even sentient, much less sapient.
