I'm not talking about combining everything.

I'm talking about organizing an rp that has nothing to do with anything currently running. Not exactly sure how it would work, would have to find a few people interested in making the colab in the first place. Would need to flat out come up with new a new world for it, no linking current stuff, that only asks for problems, be an ass to set up, although interesting. Unlikely to work longterm.

So, it would be basically a Einstenian Roulette-size forum game, with multiple GMs to compensate for the fact that none of us are Piecewise?

So the same crazy guy alt spamming the Cata thread is this guy? I thought he'd given up. Turns out, then, he just had other insane posting projects to do?

No, his insanity and inanity is something much worse. Imagine a swarm that descends upon entire worlds, seeking materials to consume and technologies to acquire, now imagine that but completely incompetent and you get an idea of what he's like.

Sounds more similar to the Slylandro Probes in Starcon 2. They replicate regardless of (re)action given towards them, since replication takes the highest priority over everything; and since it has no time to choose a new target, it takes the current target it just chatted with (peacefully or not) and assimilates them into themself so they can further replicate. In a sense, they're like a virus. An extremely dangerous one which replicates at a geometric rate.

Now I can't help but imagine a version of the sylandro probes that end up breaking themselves for material most of the time.

While it is unlikely that I would be able to help, I can tell you what are you likely going to need:
-Concensus about what is canon.
-Definite rules.
-A somewhat uniform writing style.

This way you make sure that you get a big, multi-GM game, instead of multiple spinoffs of the same game.
