Others have info on it as well as first-hand knowledge of the thread. From what I can tell, its quite a deep-seated attitude which caused all this.
It got carried from a Kongregate forum as suggested by the OP of this thread, somehow.
Which then carried over into a thread in the Forum Game--with snippets of control or such, talking about games in general...it's hard to grab the context here from hearsay.

Guy wanted to unify every game to all be interconnected. Anyone who refused said connection would be named an enemy and removed from the Internet by any means necessary.
He was also fond of accusing Toady of terrorism because apparently letting him sign up to the forum was a legally binding contract for him to set up his little Nexus project.

Personally, I think the whole thing was kinda funny. It's probably for the best that Toady nuked it, though. Could have gotten out of hand fast. The guy is either totally insane, or a very dedicated troll, which is pretty much the same thing.
