That doesn't even make sense! How does something made of light glow with a different color than what it is!? And how does it glow
black, at that?!?
Also, I did some calculations(okay, a lot of calculations and I screwed up on at least a few of them in minor ways) and I found this: In a sparring match that doesn't involve Spiral Energy(as a sparring match probably shouldn't get that heated...) and based purely off stats, Jesse beats Galen somewhere around 9 times out of ten, I believe. Partially depends on whether his perk is active when fighting her for how often he gets his ass handed to him, and partially it depends on whether they're using weapons or not(she has a larger advantage when they do, actually, since it means her perk triggers more often and she deals even more damage more often).
The reason for this, I believe I've found. See, even though their skl/spd and str/def differences are the same numerically(16-11 or 16-12 is the same as 11-6 or 11-7), and even though Galen has the advantage if you look in terms of proportions, having a higher skill than your opponent has speed increases your chances to hit more or less logarithmically, and vice versa(since it's just a matter of who rolls higher). Having a higher strength than your opponent has defense, meanwhile, increases your average damage exponentially(since the exact rolls matter). Perks or no perks, weapons or no weapons, it's always the same; Jesse does more damage on average per turn, and that's before factoring in her larger health pool.
If it was spiral energy, it would be a lot closer, due to her lower resistance and still lower skill/speed, and he would probably win most, even with her larger health pool.
So yeah just thought I'd share that since I took so long to do the calculations.
