There have been no posts for a day now, would it be fair to say we're almost done with turn 1 (implication: the GM can start making turn 2)?
I also haven't gotten a response from Digital Hellhound. I assume he wants no part.

GM has had no internet access in this cottage in the middle of nowhere for the last two days.  Now he will begin compiling turns.

So, on a totally different note, how long, in game, are turns going to be?

One season.

Aside from aiding others with them, no.  They will be useful for quests.

Hey Iituem, does magic still exist in the setting or has that all been retconned out?

Spoiler: Criptfeind (click to show/hide)

NB: Specialists are good for one quest/order per turn.

Alright.  To avoid confusion, may I request all players to restate their orders for this turn (via post labelled 'Secret' or 'Iituem')?

I can do the turn now, but I think there's a bit of discussion of actions vs orders given, so I'll wait for actual orders to compile the turn.  I'll check back in a day.

Compiling turn.  ETA 24 hours while I sort it out and streamline the book-keeping for future use.  There will be an intermission before full turn during which quest choices will be presented, but I won't do that until the turn's ready to go anyhow.

So, how did that go?

[OOC: Hey all!  Work had me stuck in a cottage in Linciolnshire with no internet access for the past two weeks, and I haven't even been able to get online to say this much.  Regular updates will continue after boxing day.]

After careful review, I believe I must axe this game.  It is far too much effort to compile a turn (three hours!) and I don't think I can manage to keep this up for any length of time.  Apologies to those playing, but I think we'd all rather a game that can realistically survive than one too ambitious to manage.  :/

That said, I'll be sure to start something a little simpler soon!

Ah, sorry.  Just too much work.  There's a chance to become a dream king in the works, though.  ;D

Out of curiosity (and as a lesson to aspiring IStG designers) what was the hard part (that took the most time compared to it's effect)?
