Hi guys.

I am currently playing 40.15 with the Peridexis-Lazy-Newb-Pack. Now I read that .15 still has quite a few unhappiness issues and the .16 version is already out for the pack so I am considering migrating my game there.

Are there any special considerations I need to make?
Can I somehow save my custom-professions etc. from Dwarf Therapist or will it just read it from the save?
Is it as simple as copying my save-game-file (region_X-folder) over to the fresh install or how would I go about it?

I believe I saw a sticky concerning this some time ago but cannot find it anymore ...

The PyLNP contains a .bat file that copies the save game over for you (but you can do it yourself if you want). When it comes to the custom professions I suspect they neither are copied over nor can/should be. The reason for this is that DT has been updated to match DF better (but not fully yet), so there is a risk things have been shuffled around.
You can always try and revert if you're not happy. The copy script does just that, it copies, so you still have the previous version until you remove it manually.

Actually everything regarding Dwarf Therapist is automatically saved, also if you do not migrate your save. Custom professions, rules, preferences etc are saved externally, so you don't have to worry about them.

Wow. That was easy. Thanks guys.

The .bat got it done right away and it seems as if everything made it to .16r3 just fine. I only had to readjust the settings in the Pack-Launcher interface (aquifers, FPS etc.). And ... finally ... happiness-indication in Therapist. That is a godsent.

Just one more question:
There are three .txt-files in my old DF-folder concerning my current world:

world_history.txt
world_gen_param.txt
world_sites_and_pops.txt

Are those needed for anything, Legendsviewer or something?
