They have a UFO and strange architecture.
There wasn't enough space for a full firing line here
They're not armored yet, at least.
Reticulan computers are strange.
We repeatedly got shot without knowing where the enemies were.
It's okay, they're right where we just were. They nearly knocked Pierre out. He's not doing so well today.
Lasers have a longer range than rifles. I had to run back to get in close enough to not waste every bullet I brought.
Every Reticulan so far has had only beams and no armor. Easy.
I should prooobably finish armoring everybody before the next mission.
Plenty of Reticulan batteries <3
Area cleared. Far to the east, you may notice a newly discovered Beastman territory, with a chemical deposit. I don't know why it's selected here. The one we just cleared had one of the newly discovered deposit types.
Oghla'k'nkmant: *Great dissatisfaction sensed. Expressing homeward desires*
Commander William: "Ah ... we're terribly busy right now. It is vital to Humanity's continued survival that we continue with our duties here, out in the rover.
Gene, quick, double-check that the comms are password protected."
The alien soldier may have left us, but the soldier/scientist will stay so long as the scientific rover is out claiming lands and performing rarely available excavations of ancient ruins. I need to keep it busy at least until we win the war. Once that's done, it's safe to let it back in the base for brief periods.
