He nods "Yeah. I've managed to get most of them done. All that's left to do is the plating"

[Adragis]

"Nice. Where are you working on it? I'd like to come take a look sometime... if you're okay with that, I mean."

[Rhodus]

"I have a workshop in the city, and yeah that would be fine. I wouldn't mind showing you around"

[Adragis]

"Mind showing me around your bed first, big boy?"
Maria smiles and nods.
"I guess that'd probably be about a day's worth if you work in the city. Maybe during the holidays, or one weekend?"

[Rhodus]

He nods again "Yeah. I was planning to head over there this weekend. You're more than welcome to tag along," he smiles "It would be nice to have some company for once"

[Adragis]

((I think this is the weekend. Do you mean next weekend?))
"Yeah, sounds great! I should be able to pay for my own train ticket, so don't worry. I know you've got money problems."
She winks, smiling. In case nobody knows, that means she either said some incredibly well-disguised innuendo or was joking.

[Rhodus]

((I guess so, yeah))
He laughs a little "I'm assuming that was a joke. Oh! And before I forget: you should probably wear clothes you don't wouldn't mind getting a little dirty, just in case. Metallurgy can be a little unpredictable"

[Adragis]

"I've got a couple T-shirts lying around, and my jeans... although if I'm reading you right that might end up with yet another crippling intestinal injury. I'm guessing there's safety clothing there? Aprons and that?"

[Rhodus]

"Yeah, all the safety stuff is there I just wanted to make sure you knew not to wear clothes that you're too attached to"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"The same. I have bein talking to  a friend."
She pauses momentarily before saying the last part.

"Hm?"
Fiiiight!
Madoka is embarrassed still.

[Adragis]

"Oh, right. Sorry. Whoops." Maria blushes. After a few seconds looking at the shelves, she turns back to Ryu.
"Well, that's something nice to look forward to."

[Rhodus]

He smiles reassuringly "Its okay. You don't have to apologize. Anyway, yeah, it'll be nice to have something to look forward to"

[SOLDIER First]

"I said, I've been talking to a friend.
The pause is gone this time.

[Adragis]

"Yeah..."
Maria's phone buzzes.
She looks at the screen, taps out a quick message, and half-puts it back into her pocket.
"...uhh... oh yeah! Just while we're here, what's your favourite sort of book?"

"I said, I've been talking to a friend.
The pause is gone this time.

"....you paused the firsdt time."
